Clean but the service could've been better
Pros:

The facilities such as bathroom, bed, desk and sheets etc. we're clean and well kept.

Cons:

Upon arrival 2 ladies at the front desk were rude with no manners, morning checkout gentleman was extremely nice however.

Cons:

The coffee bar area was filthy! No garbage can, so garbage strewn on the table. The table cloth was stained. I went out and got coffee because it was so unappealing - free or not!

Amazing stay. Great service from the male at the restaurant for dinner July 11 and breakfast July 12. Such an efficient, friendly professional.

Pros:

First day no breakfast because there was no cook, second day, I had to go the lobby to ask for help. There was nobody to assist during breakfats. Bad service, hair on the sink on the room, experience to forget

Cool Stay
Pros:

Staff were nice and professional. I needed towels and the front desk staffer was able to accommodate quickly. The room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. They were able to get me and my group on one floor.

Cons:

The rooms seem a little dated. Im not sure if they all look like this or if they have rooms they give to those who book on 3rd party sites. But the fixtures in the room and furniture seemed dated. The shower didnt allow you to slide both sides of the glass doors so you had to step in and get wet/cold, no water warm up option without getting wet. Bathroom was small for two people. We were only there one night. Cool for what we needed

Customer Service was beyond rude
Pros:

Double tree, located at 100 Nott Terrece in Schenectady N.Y. Upon arrival the front desk attendant had an amazingly rude disposition , the fire alarm went off at 1 A.M. and again at 4 A.M. turning the journey here from Lowell Massachusetts into the worst hospitality stay I have ever been to in 50 years.

2 overnight fire alarms, due to “dust”
Pros:

Fire alarm went off twice, once at 1 am and once at 4 am. We had to evacuate and the fire department came. No fire, but the front desk person said the sensors indicate dust in the unit. They can’t even figure out which unit triggered the alarm. I’m writing this at 5 am, after having to stand outside for a while. My night’s sleep is ruined.

Needs a lot of attention
Pros:

Multiple issues in room needed maintenance most of all an AC unit that was very noisy and would not shut off. Had to unplug it which led to a hot sleepless night. They would not move me citing hotel was sold out which based on the parking lot, was highly doubtful.
Fitness room had no towels or wipes to clean equipment, 1 of 3 treadmills worked, garbage can was overflowing.
Would try elsewhere if you need to stay in area. I’m an Hilton honors member for 20+ years and travel frequently for work. This place is near the top of the list of worst I’ve experienced.
