I loved the shuttle service a lot!!!! Should definitely be a regular thing. There was also an issue with my bill, and they were kind, and immediately fixed it. The front desk workers were very personable, and friendly.
No complaints
Nothing.
The room was stinky like mold and endless cigarettes. The room was not as nice and clean as it looked on the pictures. After traveling over 300 miles I checked in and out within a 15 minute span. Yes, I forfeited a couple hundred dollars but there was no way me and my children were spending one night there.
Cleanliness, easy access, pool, workout room, self laundry , loved the shower !
The smell of smoke, the television had no signal and the bed is hard as a rock
There is a lot of upgrades that need to be made . The staff seem very lazy , instead of sitting around they was a lot of cleaning that could have been done. I feel like first impressions are everything and when you first walk in it’s definitely not presentable. It smells old , and sho doesn’t have mirrors in a room. My personal opinion is the whole thing needs to be remolded.
Staff very friendly
Stunk, old, and too expensive for the quality.
Overall, the hotel is badly in need of renovation. The Holiday Inn brand is not well represented by this hotel. Two of the ice machines I attempted to use were down and the water fountain didn't work either. The room was okay, but the bathroom door doesn't shut all the way either and that can be weird for siblings attempting to use the restroom or shower.
The pizza place across the road made dinner easy to get and was good.
The lady at the front desk was not very friendly until we left the next morning. Told to pay for breakfast at buffet area then they had to go to the front desk for change and did not get all of my change. They kept almost one dollar and thought that was acceptable. The room floor was not swept. We found an outlet to plug in medical equipment and found an empty bottle of pop behind the stand and a mountain of dust. The bed was way too firm. I have only experienced one worse place and many much better places. I will never stay there again.
Pool with nice and decent location from stadium. Ride share available by the city to game. A few homeless people in the area.
Smelled like smoke, only given 2 towels for the four of us and told they didn't have anymore because no housekeeping on Sunday night. Had to take from pool towels.
Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The gentleman that was there Friday was extremely helpful with us taking our granddaughter into the pool offering us a floatation vest for her and was extremely helpful and friendly to us . Would highly recommend this hotel everyone was great
Breakfast was good but very simple. Would have loved eggs, meat and potatoes
Location
Check-in went horrible. The manager was cussing.
Location
Breakfast wasn’t really good.
Outdoor pool
The rooms need updated and it smelled musked
Didnt choose breakfast; it didn't look like it was worth what they were charging for it.
I had a terrible experience at the Holiday Inn Covington Riverfront and would not recommend staying here.
Even though I had a confirmed reservation, they didn't have a room available when I arrived. I ended up waiting for hours before I could finally check in.
When I got to my first room, it was absolutely disgusting. There was mold in the bathroom, the mirror had what looked like blood stains on it, and the room clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The floors throughout the hotel were dirty and looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time.
The pool was just as bad. The water was cloudy and had a greasy film floating on the surface, so there was no way I was letting my family swim in it.
To make matters worse, the hotel advertises free breakfast online, but when I went to the breakfast buffet the next morning, I was told I needed a voucher and would have to pay $12 without one. That was misleading and very frustrating.
The staff was rude, unhelpful, and showed little interest in resolving any of the issues. After spending just one night there, I felt like I needed another shower because the entire experience was so unpleasant.
This was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had, and I won't be returning.
it was comfortable and close to the event we were going to but not easily walkable to the great american ball park
the breakfast is not free like it says on the website and the front desk staff in the morning (6:45am on 7-2-2026) was condescending and rude when i had questions about it, since it is listed as free when i booked—i hope she was just having a bad day and this isn’t a daily occurrence. luckily there was a waffle house across the street with super energetic and friendly staff!!
