Yes, this is a Marriott, 10 minute walk from the centre of town, 15-20 minutes by taxi from the airport. And yes, the rooms have all the amenities, good bed, efficient reception and good breakfast and bar area. So why only 3 stars? The executive lounge is really nothing, just a space where you can take a drink from the fridge. No food, no service, nothing nice. Also, except for the bathroom in the room, it needs a renovation, including the walkways. It is decent and convenient, but not worth to give 4 star rating.

Revisiting 10/10
Nothing to complain about here just brilliant.
Only the location of this Hotel
Charging GBP 5 for the Room delivery of the soup ordered, which is weird. A couple of young, drunk kids with a glass of liquor in hand were roaming around and passing indecent remarks towards the other guests, including us. Is this place safe for the family? Never experience this in my life. Really disappointed with these incidents. GBP 12 for parking charges for the Guest, which is really not acceptable at all. I would like to refer this to your top management and am waiting for the feedback if possible
Spacious rooms and proximity to city centre
Very less EV charging points, the whole campus has only 2 charging points and these are occupied most of the time.
Another very pleasant , comfortable , restful night after a dinner in town. Secure parking and delicious breakfast next day with so many options. Understated , warm, professional staff in every department, from Kate on front desk to Angita in 8th floor housekeeping. Sometimes its not big thingd, but little things done well with a smile that make the difference. Thanks team Marriott, see you again soon.
nothing to dislike.
Proximity to the city centre, fantastic breakfast, very safe place to stay
Parking for guests should not be charged
Clean friendly staff and central
Nothing
Breakfast, clean room and swimming pool
Staff, atmosphere, location were excellent
There was nothing I didn’t like.
Location to city centre
Car park charging on top of hotel costs
The gym is outstanding, the breakfast was all right (but could do with an upgrade on the pastries), the room was nice. It's an old building which you see in the bathrooms but they've clearly done all they can to modernise it and make it comfortable.
Breakfast could be slightly improved - the omelette station is great but the yogurt, pastry and fresh fruit selection could be slightly improved (it didn't seem very fresh).
Everything
