Perfect location for a trip to tour Univ of Pittsburgh - adjacent to campus, a quick walk to museums
Pros:

Ray at check-in was fantastic. It's great to see a big chain empowering employees. My interaction with Ray influences me to consider Marriott as first choice property when booking hotels in the future.

Cons:

Beds were poor quality- thin, hard mattress was not as comfortable as the Marriot Cleveland University Circle, where we stayed the night before.
No umbrellas for guests
Grateful to receive breakfast voucher, but service was slow and fruit was not fresh
Tables on covered patio needed to be cleaned more frequently

Excellent value and location
Pros:

Excellent location near Alumni Hall at University of Pittsburgh. Courteous staff. Clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms with well functioning AC. Instacart delivers to hotel for forgotten items. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

There is no room service; but there is a 24/7 small market with snacks/drinks and the Bistro is open for pick-up and has delicious food.
