E in edificio vecchio e anche se è stato ristrutturato non ci sono delle particolari accortezze. Per esempio entrambe le due camere in cui eravamo io e le mie amiche avevano il bagno con la vasca da bagno e la porta che non si chiudeva. Inoltre, erano strutturate con la stanza da letto in un soppalco con scale molto strette e ripide. Veramente disagevole

Exceptional hotel and service, but the rigid handling of an unforeseen personal situation detracted.
Pros:

The Stanhope Hotel is, in many ways, an outstanding place to stay. The hotel combines elegance, comfort, and professionalism, with beautiful rooms, excellent facilities, and attentive service. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming, and the overall guest experience is of a very high standard.

Cons:

Unfortunately, one aspect of my stay left a sour note. My reservation was originally made for two guests, but due to unexpected health reasons, my husband was unable to travel and I stayed alone. This last-minute change was beyond our control, and I had hoped for some understanding and flexibility from the hotel.

Despite clearly explaining the situation, the hotel insisted on charging for two guests for the entire three-night stay. What disappointed me was not so much the additional cost itself, but the apparent lack of acknowledgment of the circumstances. Sometimes life happens, and a little empathy can go a long way.

It felt as though the policy mattered more than the guest experience, which was surprising given the otherwise excellent level of service throughout the hotel.

Overall, the Stanhope remains a wonderful hotel that I would gladly recommend for its quality, comfort, and professionalism. However, I hope management will consider handling situations like these with greater flexibility and understanding in the future.

Es un hotel espectacular, muy lindo y acogedor

Cons:

Es un hotel de 5 estrellas pero la cocina del restaurante esta cerrada los primeros tres dias de la semana, queriamos cenar por la noche y nos ofrecieron el menu del room service que era limitado o pedir por uber eats y comer allí. Desde luego no esperas tener que pedir de uber eats cuando te estas quedando en un hotel de 5 estrellas! Eso fue un poco incomodo.

Clean and close to attractions & station
Pros:

The location is amazing. Really close to the station, around 5 minutes walk at most.
We were here only for a couple of days, but everything was great.
The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
The room was nice, with a very comfortable bed.
Clean sheets, towels and the cleanliness was overall 10/10
