It was too expensive for what we had.
Pros:

It had a good view of the city

Cons:

It was old. It good have upgraded it’s elevators. The breakfast food was okey. The restaurant floor smelled dirty

The stay was decent and my baby and niece enjoyed themselves.
Pros:

The front staff was amazing and the cleanliness.

Cons:

I didn’t like the balcony door not opening and the fridge not really being a fridge but more so like chiller based off what was advised.

The employees at the front desk are nice and professional but I wouldn’t say they are warm or welcoming or friendly.
Pros:

The room was large, and the restaurant was nice. My server Jo was super friendly and efficient!

Cons:

The ice machine on my floor did not work (8th floor). An employee told me to go to the third floor because she wasn’t sure others would work. This told me she knew the machine was not working for some time. I texted the front desk and was told maintenance would be called. It was not fixed by the time I left. Summer in Charleston is very hot. Why isn’t someone doing something about the hotel ice machines?

Would stay again.
Pros:

Pleasantly surprised for the shuttle service to and from the downtown historical area of charleston. Used it to and from 4 times. Really took the pressure off driving ourselves. Loved the view and great service in the rooftop restaurant/bar. Breakfast was great.

Cons:

Busy traffic getting in and out of this location.

Have stayed here 3 times. Always clean and comfortable. Restaurant food was really awful this time!
Pros:

Love the free shuttle. Room was clean and comfy.

Cons:

Handicap accessible room, but had a bath tub instead of walk in shower. Tub was incredibly slippery! Teeny tiny waste basket in bathroom.

Pros:

The location is convenient and close to everything. The view is nice and far ranging from the upper floors. The parking lot is easy to enter a has plenty of spaces. The room is clean.

Cons:

The hotel is old and there is usually something not quite up to par (we stay here often). For example: bathroom door won't shut, no exhaust fan in bath, leaky plumbing fixtures, running toilet or broken flush lever, non-working USB and/or electrical outlet, only one working ice maker for the entire hotel. These are minor annoyances because they could easily be repaired.
Say your prayers before trying to exit the parking at rush hour.

Great location, Great stay.
Pros:

All your staff, very nice. Front desk, shuttle drivers, maintenance guy. Very helpful with any questions I had. Which were many as I have not been to this city before. Thank you.

Cons:

I just got ready for bed, hair wrapped in towel wet, pj's on. Bed time after a very long day of traveling. Tried to use the TV. Didn't turn on, got out of bed. It wasn't plugged in. Still didn't work. Called front desk twice. Their recommendation didn't work. Finally a maintenance guy came up twice. Finally he figured out the problem. Anyways the reason it didn't work doesn't matter. Having to go through this at the end of a very long traveling day, was the pits.
Also, nothing can be done about this but, the morning traffic noise is loud, especially for lower floors. Future guests my suggestion is request a higher, parking lot view room.
