Great place to stay! Central to all things Charleston.
Pros:

The view was awesome. The bar upstairs was very nice and the view was amazing. Rooms were remodeled and attractive. The staff was over the top friendly and very helpful.

Very disappointed by lack of care by hotel during a difficult stay
Pros:

The restaurant staff were lovely. Very helpful and accommodating.
The beds were comfortable with excellent pillows

Cons:

Unfortunately I took ill on the first day in the hotel and ended up in the emergency room for most of the first night. The staff at the front desk were very uncaring, had no compassion and did not do anything to help make this easier for us. The phone in the room didn't make international calls - which we needed to talk to our insurance company and despite asking about this, and being told our phone would be unlocked to make calls, it never worked. The insurance company tried to phone the hotel and could not get through to us. The staff did not offer us the use of the office phone to make these urgent calls. We also asked if we could have an additional room for my husband and son, because I was so ill. They couldn't offer anything. I wouldn't expect the reception staff to be able to approve an extra room, but given our circumstances, they could have spoken to a manager to see if there was anything they could do. In the end for the first night, I was in one bed - being very unwell, my husband in the other bed, and my son slept on the floor of the room. No Z-bed was allowed either. In the end we paid ourselves for a second room. I also had to go down to reception twice to ask them to clean my room so I could rest after having an hour's sleep the night before. On the second day there, no one came to clean my room at all. It was very unpleasant to be in such a difficult situation with no care or support from the hotel despite us talking to them multiple times about how ill I was.

Pros:

Staff were super friendly, nice. My room wasn’t ready when I arrived at 6:30 and they quickly moved me to another room. The ladies were outstanding

Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay at the motel, and the staff was pleasant. However, I believe the property could benefit from more attention to cleanliness. The hallway carpets appeared dirty, the elevator floor was consistently unclean, and the floor in our room clearly needed to be swept and mopped. Improving these areas would make the overall guest experience even better.

Cons:

I enjoyed the view fron the restaurant and lounge. Also the free shuttle service.

It was just okay .Going back to economy that at least has a good free brft.
Pros:

Bed and pillows super comfy
Free shuttle option.however the drop off address doesnt identify that its rhe Straw market as i learned too late .

Cons:

Ive never been in a $200+ room.i expected more than a plain room 1 easy chair,1 office chair.regular step in tub shower combo with curtain not a spa like setting. Dove brand toiltetries from walmart.
The glass needed windexing for better scenic view .
No microwave in room.you can use the community one by the front door
No exhaust fan in bathrm.
Be your own bellhop.
Cold food for supper in the rooftop restuarant $20 fir nachos..prices recently jncreased but not updated on google yet.fabric lined chairs but paper napkkins.no table decor at all

Super tolles Hotel
Pros:

Zimmer und Badezimmer sehr gross und sauber.
Nachtessen im Rooftoprestaurant war hammer, ebenso dss Frühstück. Da findet jeder etwas.

Cons:

Check in war sehr langsam und mühsam. Sie haben vergessen uns die Voucher für das Frühstück zu geben.
Einziger Nachteil, sehr laut zum Schlafen, Strassenlärm. Braucht Auto für irgendwohin.

Not worth the money.
Pros:

The staff were welcoming and accommodating mood.

Cons:

The hotel itself feels very outdated. The smoke alarm beeped all night. The elevators took a while to run. Overall, for $600 for two nights, I was not impressed with this stay.
