The location with the shuttle is great. It is a little challenging to get out onto the main road due to visibility but all in all a great place. The restaurant and bar have excellent views. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
This is an older holiday inn. It has been updated but it's still an older building. Not sure why the light switch for the bathroom is on the outside of the room, behind the bathroom door...and bathroom door and entry door bump each other if opened at the same time.
The free shuttle to downtown Charleston was a great perk. Having the breakfast included with our stay was also a nice benefit. What we most liked about our room was the very comfortable bed got some good night sleep

The staff is awesome!! Very nice and polite. The shuttle drivers were also great!! I stayed there because of the shuttle to MUSC.
Better lighting at the sink would be nice.
Also, running the air conditioning made everything feel damp.
The room had a nice view and the bed was comfortable.
The bathroom had some rust and mildew, needs a little updating.

We didn't like cold grits
Checking in to my room, I went to room 910 in error and realized I had a king bed instead of double beds. I called the front desk, the receptionist said my room was 901. I asked would the same key open that room too, she said yes. I went to room 901 and the same key opened the door as well. I didn’t feel safe staying in that room because one key opened two separate rooms. I told the receptionist that I wasn’t staying. I didn’t tell her why at first but I went back and explained to the evening receptionist why I didn’t stay. She understood and wrote up a cancellation number 31821149. I assume the first charged me $812.42, if I had stayed the full stay, my total charge was supposed to be $737.00 that I booked through Booking.com. I disputed those charges and was told I would not be charged because of the reason of my cancellation.

Room was very outdated. Balcony could not be open due to safety concerns. View you saw the parking lot and Wafle house but that is all.
Nice and convenient to downtown but without the hassles of parking. Shuttle was great, staff were great and a super restaurant at the top of the building.
