It was clean and smelled good. Also bed was extremely comfortable.
Near very busy interstate highway and the windows are not sound proof so heard trucks all night long. Could not sleep. I have stayed at many hotels near airports that were much quieter. So it was a terrible disappointment that I could not get a good night sleep. Will not stay there again.
Clean speedy check in
Everything was great except one thing. The AC in the riom was freezing & I could not adjust it to make it warmer. I called for someone to check it and no one ever came. I ended up putting extra pillows on top of the air vents so less air wouldn’t come through.
I was pleasantly surprised by the property which you can tell was recently renovated. The lobby was tasteful;;y decorated and restaurant and bar looked great. The rooms were very nice, clean, spacious, amenities were nice and overall it was a great stay in the Brass City. I honestly did not expect it to be so nice in Waterbury. It was a relaxing trip and the parking garage was a short walk across the street from the hotel.
Nothing, everything was great!
The hotel was very good, check-in was great and the bar and bistro was excellent.
The Boarding pass area didn't have a printer and the staff on duty said they didn't have a printer either. Why do you have a boarding pass computer but no printer to print the boarding pass.
Only one person at the desk to check people out and he was on a phone call, so I had to wait 15 minutes to get checked out.
This was a beautiful property in every respect, the rooms, the lobby, the grounds
Convenience to 84. The staff were all wonderful.
Could use a few upgrades.
There is no breakfast option. The room is not well ventilated.
Location and accessibility.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable (very hard) and the noise level outside of our room on the street was unbearable. We had just come back from a funeral and were exhausted and could not sleep the entire night. It was 2am and the loud music was non-stop. It seemed to be coming from a balcony or something because we heard it outside our window, as if it were right in front of our window. We called the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do about it. The response was NOT the normal response that one would get as a guest in a hotel. It's 2am! It was extremely unprofessional to NOT help us feel more comfortable. Every hotel I've ever stayed at (and I travel a lot) always tries to get the noise level under control for guests to sleep. We are paying for a place to be peaceful, not noisy. I felt very dismissed and disappointed in the Marriott Courtyard. I won't ever stay there again and having doubts about staying at any Courtyard Marriott. Get your staff to be more accommodating to guest when there is a complaint. That's their job.
My room was clean. The food was adequate. The Mariot provides activities for guests in the lobby.
My stay was not detected by your hotel's systems, which made checking in and out aggravatingly difficult. Because your staff member was insisting on another unnecessary and unjustified payment for my room. I missed my flight because your staff insisted on payment that had already been made on booking.com. Booking.com also inaccurately shows your hotel still has a pool. It is your hotel's responsibility to ensure your facilities/amenities are listed accurately on the websites of major travel agencies. As someone who is disabled, it is also very inconvenient that your hotel only has 3 designated parking spots outside of the building. More frustratingly, your hotel charges for parking, but doesn't have the funds to ensure the parking garage's elevator works properly. It was very inconvenient for me to stay at the Mariot.
Nothing
Location was too busy and extremely loud. Bug in the bed, windows were so dirty and garbage outside the window. Hand towel in bathroom was a used towel definitely not a clean towel. A half a roll of toilet paper was on the roll and it was wet . The air conditioner was way too loud kept me up all night. The room had a very musty smell . The pull out table was sticky .The first bad impression of the hotel was arriving to a dirty very dirty up vacuumed rug in the elevator, which all elevators were very in vacuumed . Bad first impression
