Great location, very nice room, but a ways to go before it feels like a premium experience
Pros:

Great and easy location!

Cons:

The room was recently renovated, which was lovely, but it was quite baffling there was no fan in the bathroom. The toilet was sweating and after a shower it was unusably foggy and damp.

The pool was also quite nice, but they aren’t making the most of the space. A few twinkle lights and some faux greenery would go a long way.

Not up to the Hyatt standard. Joke for big city like Toronto.
Cons:

Room carpets filthy. No valet. No concierge. No help with the bags. 15 minute waits for the elevator.

Excellent hotel
Pros:

Location was great. A few city blocks from main attractions such as Ripley’s Aquarium, CN Tower and Roger’s Centre.

Atmosphere was metropolitan business, family, weekend getaway all are covered.

Rooms was spacious, clean and modern.

Pool was heated. Towels available right there as well as bathrooms and water cooler. Only downside is there is no shade as it’s on the 17th floor.

Overall excellent experience for the price.

I liked rooftop pool
Pros:

Good location with a neat rooftop pool. Water was warmer I expected it to be cold lol. Staff was friendly hotel had decent rooms and clean.

Very Pleasant Stay at this Downtown Toronto Hotel
Pros:

We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. Location is central in the middle of downtown Toronto. Close to everything and all attractions. Convenient parking at the hotel and plenty of parking options outside the hotel. Hotel is clean. Noise level is not an issue. Service was great. Being our 5th stay at a Hyatt Regency in recent years; I get a feeling that Hyatt is neglecting to keep this brand of hotels UpToDate in terms of room furnishings, condition of the furniture, and general dark feeling of the room. They are often considered more like business hotels, but still, lots of families like us stay at them every now and then, especially because of their central locations. There seems to be more concentration on brands like Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, and Hyatt Centric in terms of having lively and modern look.

All the staff were very courteous and friendly. The room A/C issue was handled by maintenance within 20-30 minutes of notification.

Un señor mayor que labora en el Lobby del Hotel no fue lo suficientemente claro al ofrecer contactarme un servicio de transporte. Me ofreció una tarifa igual o menor que Uber, y ya cuando me disponía a abordar el SUV, me dice que al monto convenido debía sumarle el Tax. OFERTA ENGAÑOSA. ME CONVENÍA MÁS EL UBER.
