Lovely hotel and great staff
Pros:

Really welcoming, lovely hotel and very clean. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and very attentive it was great location for my business meeting

Cons:

Although I booked through booking.com they still haven’t sent an invoice despite requesting 4 times. I do this with every hotel and never a problem

Good hotel let down by poor food and poor service at bar

Great welcome , lovely receptionists above and beyond. Rooms excellent, clean hotel
Evening meal however absolutely shocking. Very poor quality all round.. fish was in soggy batter, no idea if it was cod coley haddock etc. it highly resembled Youngs Fish in Batter from freezer section in supermarket. About 6 frozen bog standard steak cut chips, and a hard lump of mushy peas. The caesar salad was all limp lettuce, and sauce yuk. Desert was flat overcooked crumble with a tiny jug of custard. This was reported to staff who just said oh we will pass it on. Bar staff allowed people ( males) to push in front of single ladies who had been waiting to be served, and announced they couldn’t find the wine , nor had any Bacardi . Disgraceful for a hotel of this calibre and prices.

Good location, rooms a good size, beds were too hard
Pros:

We stayed here as a group of 20 ladies for a 2 night hen weekend. We were sharing rooms either twins or triples
Rooms were nice and spacious, with everything you need, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, fridge, flat screen TV & aircon
Breakfast was good with plenty of selection, full english and loads of pastries, plenty of tea, coffee & juice
The only issue was the beds were the hardest beds Ive slept on in years. A lot of our group had the same issue, so if these could be improved then Id definitely stay here again
