I was traveling from Roanoke and I got there at 11 and I asked if I could check in early. The receptionist said yes at 1. I was ok with that and she even recommended where to go for lunch. She did an excellent job and was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great as well. The room was great.

Yuck. Never again. A good lesson to pay $50 more and stay at a place that doesn't gross me out and make me feel cheated. $7 to park in an unsecured lot in a cheesy part of town. Shoddy remodeling work. Gym is a joke. Breakfast was a toxic chemical cocktail including eggs that seemed like they had been boiled last month and shipped from thousands of miles away. Straight into the trash. McDonald's is more respectful to their paying customers. IHG and this hotel = corporate junk. Good reason to dump their stock after this experience. Why does Elie Malouf still have a job? Hope he doesn't move on to ruin other hotel chains.
The info for this hotel states free parking, but yet we were charged $7.00 day for parking. We staying for 5 nights. The checked us in a room and the next morning had to move us for major plumbing issue. My question is, if the new we would have to move in the morning; why put us into that room?? Then to add insult to injury the came knocking on the with to do some other maintenance thing to 2 other people who apparently didn’t for the hotel.
There is no channel guide in the room. We asked for one, they said they get one send up to the room. Still waiting! After being moved, asked the maintenance who assisted us for a body wash since the one in the new room already half empty and said he would. Still waiting on that as well.
We were promised 15,000 points for the inconveniences. Still waiting!
Overall this has been the worst experience at a Holiday Inn and/or IGH Hotel. As Diamond Elite customers we expected better.
Robbed us of our money and charged us twice.
Really disrespectful
We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Richmond - Midtown by IHG and had a great experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming, but what really stood out was the outstanding customer service from Nicole at the front desk.
Nicole was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. It’s rare to come across someone with such a positive attitude and dedication to customer service, and she absolutely made a lasting impression on our family.
Thank you, Nicole, for making our stay such a positive experience. We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area!

The elevator did not work upon our arrival. There was a $7 charge to parl the car in an open lot!!! NO coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was weak.

o go back . Oh breakfast good Nice gym and great restaurant down the block
