MainStay Suites Williamsburg Historic Area

We arrived to what we were told was a pet friendly hotel to them saying they no longer accept pets but thankfully allowed ours. Also they advertise as free breakfast hotel but do not have breakfast. Then I asked for pots for the kitchen in our room were told they'd be coming and the whole week never got them. There was only 2 plates cups and sliver wear sets for a 4 person hotel room. We left our trash outside our room in the morning for house keeping but they never took it so we had to take it to the dumpster.

This place is absolutely nasty. Will NEVER stay there again. It was filthy.

Everything,roach in the bathroom, no coffee maker in the room NO BREAKFAST but it's advertised as having breakfast funky smell, carpet felt wet,smelled of weed at the check in desk,garbage can at the door to enter smelled like a dead body,lock on the door was broken

Room had strong smoke smell, roaches, stained carpet, and dirty walls. So many bugs and roaches…..

Property was not clean, rooms smell, hallways smell bad.
Bed Linens were stained
Towels were stained.
Bathroom needed cleaning.
TV signal was bad, kept loosing the channel.
Internet kept going on and off
AC worked great

The hotel was filthy wreaked of cigarettes and Marijuana. No at front desk because they were outside smoking pot with the crew that must have been living there out in the parking lot drinking alcohol
And racing scooters in the parking lot
We stayed for 6 days and our room was never cleaned no clean sheets no clean towels the kitchen area had dirty sticky floors no coffee maker no dishes or silverware no pot pan no dish soap or dishwasher detergent smelled of .mold
Bugs crawling everywhere I had to take all of my clothing to a laundromat to make sure the bugs weren't in my luggage I rate this dive of a l"hotel and that's stretching it" a negative 20
PLEASE IF YOU ARE CONCIDERING THIS PLACE I EMPLORE YOU ..DON'T
YOU JUST MAY COME BACK WBUGS IN YOUR LUGGAGE
Also they said they offered breakfast.....they did not nor the pool they said they had
I travel alot and this by far is the worst place I've stayed
I emplore you not to consider this place

Half of the electric outlets didn’t work, hairdryer didn’t work, tub didn’t drain, 1 plate and 1 bowl provided, sheets had blood stains, every time I went to the service desk to ask for the help the staff were not there- they were outside smoking, and or vaping

Walking in the room smell like smoke stains in the chairs. Mode on the bathroom walls round the tub.
The pictures will fool you online. The pictures probably was when the place was brand new 10 /15 years ago.

El lugar muy feo, ofrecieron un buen desayuno y solo había café, el lugar olía a húmedo y a humo.

Place is so disgusting. Also, they will make up lies and keep your deposit. There was a bloody tampon in the hallway and found clothes left by previous guests in the room. Had to stay here because we were transitioning to a new home. Awful, awful experience.

It was absolutely disgusting it was very very dirty it had roaches mold trash and the drawers it smelled really bad the mattresses was and the bad shape as stains and mildew the ceiling was tore up nothing works and they're the air conditioner was broken the refrigerator was not cold it was broken the windows were busted and they use the mirrors to cover it stove didn't work I needed to be shut down it's completely nasty I would never recommend anybody I would never ever stay there even if they gave me a week for free never would have ever happened again most horrible experience ever I would like to have my money back never experienced something so bad in my life and so uncomfortable
