The location was close to great restaurants and shops, and easy access to the airport! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant and bar were very nice!

It’s old needs updating but it’s in a good location
Pros:

Close to universal and restaurants

Cons:

The room was not cleaned the second day, didn’t know that it had to be requested after a long day at universal coming back to a dirty room was disappointing. I called down the staff was friendly but they said after a certain time housekeeping is done for the day but they sent up towels and toiletries.

Overall worthwile!
Pros:

The location is absolute prime,,, walking distance to Burbank cafes and restaurants.

Cons:

Considering that in California you are not allowed to drink water off the tap, there was n bottle of water included in the room.

Left Stranded
Cons:

My search on booking.com was for a hotel eith shuttle to LAX. This came up as first choice. I booked the motel only to arrive from London to find my phone service would not kick in. A lovely fellow traveller allowed me to ise their phone to find out where the shuttle would pick me up at LAX. Was advised to go to gate B. Once I got to gate B I realised there were multiple pickup points asked another stranger to call the motel to check where to be. Advised abruptly by same receptionist that there is no shuttle to LAX. Further investigation found it would cost over $300aud one.way in a cab. I had to walk the streets near the airport until I found available accomodation. Worst experience when coming to another country. Was quite scary thinking I may not have accomodation for the night and the Burbank was not very accomdating or helpful with my situation at all. No compassion what so ever.

Overall, everything is good, and the hotel is decent.
Pros:

Great view of LA from the upper floors. Quiet. Spacious room (I booked a single), and the bathroom is separated by two doors. Freeway noise is minimal.

Cons:

Water was trickling very slowly from beneath the toilet. That was probably the only downside—I hope they’ve fixed it. Also, the hotel charges a hefty price for breakfast.
