Exceeded all expectations in the 3 bedroom villa.
Pros:

Excellent location. Clean rooms. Delicious breakfast. Quiet. We traveled with 2 young children and they really enjoyed the pool.

We rented the 3 bedroom villa. Contrary to other reviews we had the entire space to ourselves and the staff were very respectful of our privacy. You do share the pool with other guests though.

The staff were great with our kids and we're very accommodating. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again!

Pros:

Lovely location, quiet and serene but only a few steps away from the main road full of bars, restaurants and shops. Beach is a 5 minute walk away, and the big road into town / to the airport is also very accessible. Room was large, comfortable and beautiful with a view of the trees and flowers in the garden. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, and the manager made sure I had a banh mi for my early morning check out. Wonderful service, thank you!

Pros:

La literie est incroyable, certainement la meilleure depuis mon arrivée au Vietnam! La chambre est très cosy, la personnel est très sympa, l'endroit est très calme et bien placé.

Cons:

Il n’y a pas de cloison entre la salle de bain, les toilettes et la chambre. Cela ne pose pas de problème lorsqu’on est seul, mais c’est un peu plus contraignant à deux.

Fantastiskt ställe i An Bang
Pros:

Fantastiskt! Enastående personal på Chay Villas. Trevlig och bra frukost vid poolen. Stora rum med bra badrum och väldigt skön säng. Trevlig trädgård vid poolen att slappna av vid och njuta av stillheten. Bara 5 min promenad till stranden och massor med restauranger och barer runt hörnet! Trevlig cykeltur till Hoi An över risfälten.

Great location, good breakfast. Staff were very accommodating and responsive. Also, 2 minutes from the fantastic beach!
Pros:

The staff were extremely friendly and kindly modified our booking when our itinerary was affected by flight cancellations and waived the fee incurred.

Cons:

Nothing really. Our room was quite small but we were very happy as they managed to accommodate us owing to the change in our itinerary (see previous email) it was clean and we enjoyed the outside balcony.

Pros:

This was one of the best villas in Hoi An where I’ve stayed. The room is clean and modern, with a nice design. The pool looks very clean, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. The location is close to the sea, and it takes about 15 minutes to reach the Old Town by bike. Highly recommend.

Es war perfekt! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und auch diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.
Pros:

Sie war genau so wie beschrieben. Leise, kurzer Fußweg zum Strand und ein Katzensprung mit dem Roller in die Altstadt. Das Personal war unbeschreiblich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war super sauber, groß und komfortabel. Das schönste war das Badezimmer mit der tollen Dusche. Obwohl das Zimmer direkt an der Gemeinschaftsküche lag, haben wir durch die Schallisolierung keine störende Geräusche wahrgenommen. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt!

Pros:

Kommunikation: per WhatsApp, auf englisch. Schnell und unkompliziert. Unser Flug hatte Verspätung, wir kamen erst 21uhr an. Es wurde ein shuttle organisiert, nachgefragt ob wir den Fahrer gefunden haben, der späte Check in sehr herzlich und super schnell, Tipps für spätes Abendessen. Top!
Zimmer: so wie beschrieben / auf den Fotos. Hochwertige Möbel, bequemes Bett, alles sehr sauber. Besonders toll: schallisolierte, moderne Fenster. Zimmer im Dachgeschoss = sehr privat.
Anlage: gepflegt und sehr sauber, während unserer 5 Tage lag nicht ein Blatt im Pool, obwohl schön grün mit Bäumen und Pflanzen.
Immer lächelnder und hilfsbereiter Sicherheitsdienst (wir haben die Tür nachts offen gelassen, absolut sicher)
Service: aufmerksam. Fahrräder wurden organisiert (60.000vnd/ Tag, inkl. Bringservice), Absprachen auf English oder mit Google translate zuverlässig. Zimmer Reinigung, Handtücher (3 pro Person) auf Wunsch täglich frisch. Täglich Wasserflaschen, tee/Kaffee Zubehör aufgefüllt.
Frühstück: gute Auswahl, immer frisches Obst, für die Eier Speisen werden extra Salz und Pfeffer serviert (super für uns, da mein Mann sehr wenig Salz isst, ich aber gerne)
Weil unsere Tour sehr früh startete bekamen wir statt Frühstück vietnamesisches Sandwich (Banh Mi, auf Wunsch vegetarisch), es lag bei Abfahrt schon bereit, plus 2 Wasserflaschen.

Cons:

Mein eindruck: Kritik aus alten Rezensionen wird ernst genommen und verbessert. Deshalb ein hinweis: information zu den Getränken im Kühlschrank (preise) hat gefehlt. Die Vorhänge am Fenster waren etwas kaputt.

Das Zimmer hat dachschrägen und das Bad/ WC keine Tür, nur ein Vorhang. So wie auf den Fotos. Wenn Sie das stört: buchen Sie ein besseres Zimmer in Chay Villas. Bevor Sie sich beschweren, überlegen Sie bitte was Sie gezahlt haben. Erwarten Sie 5 Sterne Luxus zum Hostelpreis? Und trotzdem unzufrieden? Bleiben Sie zu Hause...

Allgemein: Unterkünfte in Hoi An / An Bang Beach haben wegen des Klimas eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und Schimmel Gefahr. Chay Villa hat dieses Problem im Griff. Lüften Sie ihr Hotelzimmer, nutzen Sie den Ventilator...
Es wird insbesondere zwischen Da Nang und Hoi An viel gebaut. Die Region boomt, neue Hotels und ständig Renovierungen (für die anspruchsvollen Touristen), auch bringen Unwetter wie im Herbst 2025 heftige Zerstörung. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass Sie Baulärm stören wird, ist also in ganz An Bang gross. Auch Lärm von motorbikes und krähende Hähne haben uns in allen Hotels auf unsere Reise begleitet. Das kann Chay Villas natürlich nicht ändern.

Die Strände bei Hoi An sind unendlich lang, An Bang Beach ist sauber. Sie können auch menschenleere Abschnitte finden, dann aber leider voller Treibgut und Plastikmüll. Wir -touristen- sind Teil dieses Problems. Achten Sie auf die Natur und entsorgen Sie Ihren Müll korrekt.
