Staff are always great there.
Rooms over the main bar are large and comfortable.
Breakfast has dropped massively in quality.
Room was really quiet a bit worried as it was right next to the children's playground. But all was well.
The bathroom fan didn’t turn off all night not sure why.
Lovely staff, room fine, comfy bed, great shower,

Everything! We've stayed here a few times now and everything from the staff to the cleanliness is amazing.
Nothing you can't improve on perfection
Brilliant staff!
On our route south
Becoming expensive for food
We have stayed at the Talardy before so didn’t hesitate to book again .
The hotel is in a good location for us
We booked a meal for 7.30 for our wedding anniversary as we have had many family meals there , unfortunately on this occasion the meal was very poor ,the presentation was shocking my burger was squashed and the triple cooked skin on chips were looked more like they had come from the bottom of the bag
We were visiting St Asaph for the weekend, so location was perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff - especially when we made a last minute food order. Spacious and comfy room. Good breakfast options, recommend the omelettes. We had dinner too, which was excellent. Great range of starters and classic pub mains.
Very nice and welcoming place. We stayed there at such a short notice. We stay there again when visiting Wales
It was perfect for our weekend
The room was well maintained and clean. All facilities worked had no issues with the staff all were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing is can think of that would need improvement
Lovely clean room,
Very friendly staff
The staff were friendly and helpful.
No storage in room only a small rail to hang items but no draw space.
We were staying for a wedding in the area and asked how we would get back in after midnight. Staff told us about the night entrance at the rear of the property and that our keycard would just open it.
We got back from the wedding at 12.30am and went to the night entrance and the keycard didn't work, we rang the intercom three times but no one responded.. I then walked around the front of the building to see if I could see anyone and my husband went through a gate by the night entrance, when a man appeared asking what did we want.
He let us in the night entrance and we went to our room to find the keycard no longer opened our room door. We went along the landing to the door that led to the main stairs to go to reception but that was locked and the guy shouted that we had to go back down the night entrance, walk back around the building for him to let us in the front door to get a new key card and then back around to the night entrance to get back to our room. The whole thing was ridiculous.
Friendly staff. Decent sized rooms. Good food.
Lovely and clean
Breakfast was a shambles, no plates, no cutlery, had to keep asking for various basic items, hardly any hot water to make a drink, two croissants left, nothing had been replenished , the food was just as bad, eggs greasy and overcooked, looked as if it had been stood a while, I made sure we were down for breakfast in plenty of time as I know it can be frustrating for staff , we were down with 45 mins to go before the end of breakfast, the lad was lovely so it was difficult for me to have to complain but it really needs sorting out,
