Love this hotel!!!The only negative is they have the worst water pressure I've ever experienced; the water literally dribbles out of the shower. But it doesn't keep me from staying there.

Had to adjust my room and the staff was very helpful.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing.

I spent $801.92 on my stay and expected a comfortable night's sleep. Instead, from approximately 11:00 PM until 2:30 AM, a dog in a nearby room barked almost continuously. Hotel security responded twice. Each time, the dog stopped barking while they were at the room, but as soon as they left, the barking started again.

The next morning, I reported the issue to the front desk. I was told the guest with the dog was checking out that day. Unfortunately, that didn't help because I was checking out that morning as well. The damage had already been done after losing several hours of sleep.

To make matters worse, while eating breakfast that morning, another guest brought a dog into the dining area. Seeing a dog where food was being served only added to my frustration after an already miserable night.

I spoke with management, and to their credit, they acknowledged the situation and offered me a refund. However, it has now been well over a month, and despite that promise, I have yet to receive the refund or any communication explaining the delay.

I understand hotels cannot control every guest's behavior, but they are responsible for how they respond when problems occur. The lack of a timely resolution after promising a refund has been even more disappointing than the original issue.

I hope management follows through on its commitment and improves how situations like this are handled in the future.

Perfect location. Comfortable room. Staff are very helpful

It was very nice. The room layout was a little odd-not much space to go around the bed to the bathroom. And then, only one side of the bed had any room for plugs. Since it was my husband and me, we could have used plugs go charge phones, iPads and watches. But on the whole, very nice and great location.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We came for relaxation and thats just what we got. It's always a great thing when you can book a hotel that's always clean, quiet, comfortable, and conveniently has a awesome restaurant and coffee place in its lobby. It has become our home when in Charleston.

As ALWAYS...A wonderful stay. From the beautiful room, friendly staff, fabulous restaurant and coffee shop, hands down would not stay anywhere else!

Beautiful hotel. Great location, walkable to many places. Rooftop pool and bar with good food and drinks. Coffee shop is a must try. That toasted coconut ice coffee was fantastic. Special shout out to Vicky at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help us. We truly appreciate it. If we ever visit Charleston again we will definitely stay there again.

Great hotel located in an iconic area of the city. The staff is professional and friendly. The common areas in the interior and exterior of the facility bring out the vibes that are associated with Charleston!

We visited The Mills two years ago and had a fabulous experience so decided to stay again. The location is great and convenient to the downtown area. Upon arriving, the valet promptly called for the bell hop to assist with our luggage and we went to our room. We arrived at our room which surprisingly was located next to the elevator. I am a Hilton Honors member and my profile highlights a room on a high floor away from the elevator. I called guest services and explained that since the door had a 3" gap under it and we could hear every conversation of guests getting off the elevator, we would like to switch rooms. I went down to the front desk as she requested. I explained our concerns and politely mentioned our profile. The receptionist curtly said let me check for you and exchanged our room as if it was a problem. Since we had just driven 8 hours from Orlando, we dropped our luggage in our new room and went down to Iron Rose bar in the hotel. The staff were very pleasant and attentive recommending a couple of drinks and apps to help us relax and plan dinner. Overall, the room was fabulous and we had a great time.

Loved this hotel! Great arrival, lovely decor and beautiful rooms. Bathroom doors are a little odd as they roll and there’s space between the wall and the door, but we got over that quick. Loved the pool and the downstairs cafe, highly recommend.

Had a great stay at the Mills House in Charleston. The hotel is luxurious, charming, and comfortable.

My visit to Charleston was with my youngest daughter and Mills House Charleston, played a big part in making the weekend so special for us. The Mills House is located in the French Quarter, on the corner of Meeting street and Queens Street, making it a perfect spot for convenient walking to shopping and dining. Charleston Place is a quick few minute walk, along with being withint walking distance to the Historic Charleston City Market. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are quiet, beds very comfortable, and sheets oh so soft. They have a rooftop pool, offering reprieve from the warm summer heat. It was a joy and we look forward to making more memories there.

From the moment I arrived, I had an exceptional experience. The hotel was truly luxurious, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep.

Every detail reflected quality and care, creating a relaxing and upscale atmosphere. Whether traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel. I would absolutely stay here again and look forward to my next visit!
