Great shuttle service , and driver Bing is friendly.
Kalinda at the front desk - efficient, polite, helpful, friendly.
My husband and I stayed at the Wyndham San diego. We had the most fabulous stay and its all thanks to the amazing staff at this hotel. The level of service and detail is as close to perfection as you can get. The location is amazing, the hotel is beautiful! A special shout-out and thank-you to a very kind Mr. Ryan Ochs. Ryan is one-of-a-kind, most humble, helpful people we have ever met. I want to say thank you to everyone at this hotel for making our trip so memorible. We will definitely be coming back to this property in the near future. If you are on the fence of booking a san diego hotel. look no further, book this place and you'll thank me later :)
Ryan Ochs made our trip the best, thank you for being so kind and helpful! I appreciate all you have done. You are a Rockstar!
Bong was a magnificent shuttle driver! He was helpful and pleasant.
Great location wonderful balcony but truly the best staff. Celia st the front desk is always amazing and so welcoming. A true asset to this hotel
The bed was comfortable and it was close to the cruise port
The hotel is very out dated… the ceilings have popcorn ceiling and the fixtures are old and ugly as well as the bathroom.. the balcony railing didn’t appear very safe either… I was expecting a much more modern hotel especially for the amount of cruising guests that stay there..
Location
Small and crowded lobby area
The view from the room was great.
That I had to leave.
location was excellent and staff were amazing.
Somewhat dated but excellent value.
The location is amazing! It's downtown, but next to the bay, so it's across the street from the Maritime museum, and a ten minute walk to Little Italy, Seaport Village, and The Gaslamp. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, and still had a great time in San Diego.
It was a weekend, so there was some noisy neighbors on our floor. Nothing crazy, but it was extended on a couple nights. The other issue I was very unhappy with was I prepaid through a service, but was hit with a "Destination Fee" and taxes that added over $100 USD to my bill, which was charged after I checked out, and I had to call the front desk to have them explain what this mystery charge was.
Muy buena ubicación y parking enseguida del hotel
Instalaciones viejas, puertas del ban̈o sin seguro, dispensador de shampoo no funcionaba
I appreciate Julyda for helping unlike the group coordinator who will not even come out of the office.
Rooms are clean.
Meeting food is good.
I appreciate the upgrade Celia!
Sadly no shuttle, good thing resort fee is waived
Location. Ok. Good view but not the best with the homeless people downtown.
Atmosphere balcony rooms with water view are nice.
Rooms are decent but not the best.
Value for money is too pricey.
Company paid for the conference for my room so it’s ok. A bit noisy on the streets but expected due to busy area. Not much of amenities at the hotel.
Thank you Lili, Julyda and Ryan O. for the help and consideration with issues with my booking.
The group coordinator in reservations office is not helpful and hard to find.
Food is ok at the meetings
I like the location.
The hotel hall ways where dirty and the room where we stay had old stuff.
Location, location, location ... The proximity to the water and dining was key. Mountain view was nice, just don't look down bc it wasn't as pleasant. They also required the key card to get to use the elevator, which kept the place safe. The staff was also super friendly.
The check-in process at 4 pm was LENGTHY, as the line was LONG. I was able to pop into the Claim Jumper to grab a drink, then my husband did the same. (I will say that staff offered water and chips to those in line, which was appreciated at least by our kiddos.) While we found parking OK, the spots were small and people were parking over the line limiting the spots' use. While the room was comfortable, the layout with the bathroom door facing the beds was a little awkward and I didn't realize in advance the 2 beds were doubles and not queens. Read closely when you book.
