Great place if flying out of Orlando.
Pros:

We live about 2 hours from Orlando and sometimes it's best to fly out of there than our local airport. I like to get a room the night before so I'm not getting up at 4am.
This is our first try with Home2Suites. They're only a mile from the airport, have a shuttle and for a fee you can keep your car there while you travel. That's all pretty standard for a bunch of hotels in the area. The reason this one will be our goto, is due to how nice the place is. If it's not brand new (I don't think it is), it was just refurbished. Everything is modern and new. A nice surprise was the size of the rooms. You kind of get used to the default size hotel box room, so the length of these rooms was a nice surprise. We had 2 queen beds. Even with that, there was room for a loveseat and a kitchen with a small full size fridge and a couple of burners. If I was traveling for a week on business, I could easily stay in this place.

Free breakfast was a bit better than most, with a few hot things in addition to the make your own waffle station.

The staff was way attentive as well. They answered our questions about parking and took care of our reservations for the shuttle. The charge for parking while flying was $12 per day. I mentioned that I swore the website said 10, although mentioned it may not have been their site, but like a booking.com or something. 2 bucks is no big deal so I let it drop. The next morning the guy at the desk said he'd looked online himself and it WAS their site and it still said $10. He fixed that for us and the other 4 parties that stayed. That's great service.

There are also a bunch of good places to eat drink within walking distance.

There's no bar, but they sell stuff in the lobby where there's plenty of room to spread out inside and outside. There's also a skinny pool in the back. We didn't use that.

If you take the shuttle, remember that upon return you need to call them to send the pick up shuttle. They don't just loop the thing all day. I didn't know that, but do now.

This will be our new goto place when flying out of Orlando. All in our party thought the same.

Fit the needs of an overnight traveler
Pros:

Front of house staff was welcoming and accommodating. Room was clean and spacious

Cons:

Photo of pool and lounge made both seem much larger. Location is a .75 mile walk to food and amenities. Breakfast was a real treat

Pros:

We were hours early. They treated us like family and after a modest wait, we were allowed to check in early. We greatly appreciated the early check in and all the kindness. We were using scooters with a couple of pieces of luggage. Your staff politely insisted in helping with the bags for us. Thanks.

Cons:

Rooms were gross and not kept up. Cleaners need to do a better job at scrubbing bathroom floors, showers, etc. our first room had someone’s beard hair all over the bathroom floor and looked as though it hadn’t been mopped for multiple stays. Yuck
