Posada del Rey exceeded our expectations. The rooms are amazing as such and also amazing value, big, very clean and comfortable. We loved the breakfast, staff and location.
Hot water can be a bit random, but we had been aware and calculated that in.

Good location. Comfortable beds
Extremely loud. Impossible to get a good night sleep. You hear everything both inside and outside. Worse, the staff seems unaware of how loud they are, especially at night. You hear them talking to each other in the reception room. You hear them using their phones on speakerphone. One staff member thought it a good idea to do dishes after midnight making all kinds of noise. The wifi is spotty and barely worked in my room.

This is a beautiful little hotel very close to the main square in Cuenca. Our room was big with a very comfortable bed and it was good value for money.
I enjoyed the included breakfast.
It would have been nice to have filtered drinking water available.
The shower temperature can be a bit temperamental.
Our stay at Posada del Rey was excellent throughout. Staff fulfilled all our wishes and the rooms are beautiful, immaculately clean and spacious.

Very beautiful, very clean rooms. We felt so comfortable and enjoyed the inside courtyard for our breakfast. Staff were always ready to help and kind.

Posada del Rey had fantastic rooms and bathrooms, which are kept immaculately clean. All staff are friendly and very welcoming. The location is very central, so almost everything can be reached by foot. A taxi to the airport is only $3. The building itself is historical, very beautiful. Whilst as some commented before, the breakfast is simple, it is freshly made, vegetarian and fully sufficient. I much prefer this to food waste. If bigger portions are needed, one only needs to ask. We didn't experience any traffic noise, the rooms have historic double doors to the street.
