I liked that we had a room with a view. It was very cute and well cared for enough.

Cons:

It was extremely difficult to find; the instructions in the welcome email are not great. Also the elderly attendant lady yelled at me 3 different times over a payment misunderstanding due to a third party booking. My credit card reflected a payment, their booking said i had not paid. I ended up paying twice and then having to use my vacation time to call the credit card and sit with the owners daughter to call the third party to sort things out. Each time I thought we were finished and I had respectfully waited quietly through the owners tirade she would knock on our room door again to voice her disdain again and again because I had paid by credit card and not by cash. Apparently its a family owned business and there is some internal family dispute my own family did not know about but fell victim to. Her daughter was also very aggressive in informing me that they have the same issues over and over with many tourists; but yet I was responsible apparently for fixing all prior wrongs; all this was happening while my children could hear. Then we were blamed for other inconveniences to other guests because they gave us a room that was apparently for someone else. Then despite free breakfast being advertised as included in the price this was held over our heads as if it was a favor to get us to pay in cash. After these disputes we did not feel welcome much less safe in this hotel; we didnt even stay to eat the next day; we left as soon as daylight permitted because we feared they would harm us using their extra key- their aggression toward us was very scary. Needless to say, it really ruined our Santorini experience.

Escale idéale à Oia
Pros:

Idéalement situé en plein cœur de Oia, dans une petite ruelle au calme (ce qui est un exploit à Santorin !). Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire qui fait tout son possible pour rendre le séjour agréable. Rooftop parfait pour le coucher de soleil et le petit-déjeuner concocté avec soin par l’hôtesse.

Amazing
Pros:

Very large and comfortable rooms, host went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She was lovely! Made a fresh free breakfast for us every morning and stored our bags for us on checkout day. Amazing location, close to everything but quiet

Only thing is aircon was not super strong, but we do just like a freezing room

We really enjoyed our stay at Marcos Rooms. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, and the staff was always kind and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality – we would happily stay here again!😊
