Simple elegance with an attentive staff—an excellent choice!
Pros:

Situated in the leafy pleasant area of Heliopolis, I enjoyed the calm, the beauty and the view of the elegant and historic Baron Empain Palace with the brilliant orange of the flame trees contrasting with the lush greenery surrounding it. The interior of the hotel is elegant yet not overly formal and perfect for relaxation and enjoyment—especially the beautiful rooftop pool area and restaurant with their stunning views over Cairo. Definitely this was the best place to stay with easy access to anywhere in the city I needed to go.

Pros:

The people ,the environment and front desk staffs like Mr Ahmed,Mahmoud,Joustina,Takwa,my amazing manager,she never told me her name,but she definitely knows exactly who she is I’m talking about:)
Thank you all for your kindness and support during our stay.

Cons:

The restaurant staffs,most of them lack human relations,it seems they’re different from the hotel staffs,was very difficult dealing with them.
Sorry,I’m just being factual.
Sure they can get better.

Pros:

rooftop terras met zwembad, zalig om na de reis even te ontspannen en waar je ook een bietje kan drinken.

Cons:

De enige opmerking die we hebben is dat ze 20 dollar vroegen voor een privéchauffeur van het hotel naar de oude stad, uiteindelijk overeengekomen voor 15 dollar maar de chauffeur was niet tevreden met 1 dollar tip, terwijl we voor 3 eur met een lokale taxi terug van de stad naar het hotel zijn gekomen. Tip: schrijf je bestemming op in het Arabisch aangezien de lokale bevolking geen engels kan.

Their internet WiFi very slow and doesn’t work most of time , must try their baron bistro which is at ground level with nice sunset views ,food service is good need reservations as it get full mostly evenings. Nice shisha there. Do try
