Nicht zu empfehlen!
Cons:

Das Personal ist nicht in der Lage eine Rechnung zu erstellen. Sehr unfreundlich und völlig inkompetent seinen Job auszuführen. Es wird nicht auf E-Mails, Nachrichten über Booking oder sonstige Kontaktmöglichkeiten geantwortet.

der Besitzer macht alles allein, darunter leiden Komfort und Sauberkeit

Cons:

Nur das Bett war richtig sauber, im Zimmer war viel Staub, die Gardinen sind lange nicht gewaschen worden und die Matratze war alt und durchgelegen.
Der Frühstücksraum -ehemalige Gaststube- ist ungemütlich

Great location, decent room but transparent curtains
Pros:

The location of the hotel was perfect. Its close to the city center. The room was alright, its a bit outdated but you cant complain for the price. The man behind the reception desk was delightful at every moment of the day.

Cons:

The curtains were almost transparent. This would actually be the only point of improvement. Its a quick fix and would totally change the feeling of not really feeling well rested.

Worst stay ever
Pros:

The only thing good about this place is the location, in front of the Main station

Cons:

Onw the worst stays I ever had. Looks like an outdated hotel from the 80s, no facilities at all and dirty everywhere.
The man in the reception is very rude and unprofessional, he started shouting at me one night because i invited a friend for 20 mins upstairs, he didn’t even allow it, he could have said no politely and I would understand, not starting to shout! very very rude!
Not only this, but also the have no luggage storage which is a basic thing in any hotel anywhere
I will never stay in this hotel again!! EVER!!

Ein einfaches Hotel mit guter Lage.
Pros:

Die Lage ist wenn man mit der Bahn reist ideal. Trotzdem nicht zu laut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist recht alt und das merkt man an verschiedenen Aspekten (Lift, Türen, eine gewisse Enge).

The owner is a gem! He felt like family. The location a stone’s throw from the train station was super-convenient. The biggest drawback was the lack of air conditioning. The weather during our stay was very hot, and our room was a bit like a sauna. Afternoons and evenings were pretty rough — had to stay hydrated.

Pros:

If you want a luxury resort, this isn't your place. If you want a safe, quiet, clean, and above all convenient place to sleep, this is it. Just steps away from the train station, beautiful central Mainz is very walkable from here. It's a small place with personal service. If I ever get a chance to go back, I'll certainly stay there again. Mainz is beautiful, by the way.

Das Bettzeug war am ersten Tag dreckig, wurde dann anscheinend gewechselt. Das Frühstück entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen, Körnerbrötchen erst auf Nachfrage, nichts Grünes, kein Müsli. Wegen Nähe zum Bahnhof extrem laut und keine schalldichten Fenster

Die Einrichtung ist spartanisch und etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber top gepflegt, Service super und ein ganz herzlicher Gastgeber, der sein Hotel mit sehr viel Liebe pflegt! Mir hat absolut nichts gefehlt und ich komme gerne wieder. Trotz super-zentraler Lage ruhige Zimmer, von draußen und von den Nachbarzimmern kaum etwas mitbekommen. (Tipp: Das Bad ist seeeehr platzsparend eingerichtet, für Menschen mit etwas mehr Umfang könnte das evtl. etwas herausfordernd werden; außerdem hält der Aufzug auf halber Treppe, man kommt also nicht drumherum, das Gepäck zumindest eine halbe Stiege rauf/runter zu tragen).

This is a one star hotel, and is terribly overpriced. Tiny room, tiny toilet room, toilet seat had feces on it when we arrived, shower was virtually worthless since showerhead clogged. But one could sit on toilet and vomit at same time, just in case.
