The property had character and the ocean views were really beautiful. The staff were very attentive. The rooms were nicely decorated and the a/c was very comfortable. We ate at the more informal restaurant for lunch and breakfast and the food was excellent. The hotel was right on the beach so you can just walk out to nearby restaurants.
I would recommend the provide a welcome drink for a five star hotel. Also the restaurant staff in the morning was not as attentive. I asked for a second tea which never came. These are minor details though.

Luxury atmosphere and every detail in the Manor House was perfect. The hotel rooms need some maintenance.
Lunch at the restaurant was very good paired with a very nice Douro Branco.
Service was outstanding, except for breakfast staff.
