It was good. We had a very good experience. I would like to stay again at your hotel. My family enjoyed their stay as well. I would recommend it again.
The check-in process really set the tone for my experience. It was incredibly confusing with regards to who was in charge of what. I took me multiple tries to get valet support.
The valet who did help, Marcus, was incredibly kind and helpful. He escorted my elderly mother to her room while I went to find parking.
You do have to pay to park onsite, which seems ridiculous given the location of the hotel.
The lobby of the hotel is beautiful and it being directly connected to the mall was a plus.
Our room was clean, but the HVAC setup was a bit outdated - the one vent in the room was awkward placed high up on a wall.
The TV was not a smart TV and the Chromecast that was supposed to be connected to the TV was not. I had to find a workaround to get it connected to wifi in order to use.
The shower temperature would not stay constant no matter what setting the knob was on; same for the sink.
Our housekeeper was very kind and came by every day to check to see if we needed anything.
In a world where cash is used less and less, I would think there would be a way to tip staff if so desired - I also wasn't expecting to have to make use of valet and didn't prepare myself with cash, which was my fault.
We came for a family reunion and the food at our banquet was delivered late and was not well-prepared. The audio/visual capabilities were poor, as well.
Hyatt Birmingham is outstanding! The location is extremely convenient to restaurants and the exits. Self arking could be improved.

The location of this hotel is great. It's so convenient to so many places. The staff was everything we could have asked for and more. The valets were fast and courteous. The room was exceptionally clean, and housekeeping was spot on. We could not have asked for a better hotel or a better experience, especially for the price.
The rooms were clean, and valet personnel was always prompt and nice.
I paid for both of my rooms online via booking.com on July 14, 2026, in full. Front Desk staff stated that my card on was file but not charged. As I was checking my credit card for the charge, he charged my card for one room. After he charged it he found that I had already paid for both rooms. So, now a have a pending charge on my card for over $400. I booked a king and queen room on the high floor. It took about 20 minutes to find rooms on the same floor. We had to make both rooms queen. I was traveling with kids and didn't want to be on separate floors. Lastly, to remedy the issues valet was to be comp, but was not. Other than that everything else was great.
Restaurant was incredible and they gave us a free buffet voucher! Debbie and all of the restaurant staff were fantastic! Would definitely recommend

Walls seemed thin. It was very easy to hear other guests. The property seemed well-loved for the price.

My stay was amazing! Beginning with a warm welcome by Front Desk Agents Tajuna and Tamiyah, to the great service while having dinner, and the amazing service and attention to detail from Debbie. My entire experience was amazing.
Last weekend we came for the baseball tournament. It was so nice relaxing in the pool after long games. Stephen on the valet team was excellent in what he does !
