We really loved the Hyatt Regency Winfrey Hotel in Birmingham. Its Location was great, connected directly to the Galleria mall. This gave us many shopping and dining options. Even though connected to a mall and in a busy location, the hotel and rooms felt very quiet and serene. The hotel restaurant was very near the mall entrance, and had an awesome bar and food! All the staff were so helpful and nice.
Dee Dee and Ronald with valet was exceptional. Will stay at this hotel again just because of their service.

I didn't get the room that I asked for way in advance. I was assigned a room that I clearly expressed that I did not want. When I informed them of my request, I was told that they did have it available. I guess they wanted to put someone else there. I tried to not get upset right at the start of our vacation. We went to the room and at bedtime there was a loud machine running, disturbing our sleep. I asked for a room like I had requested at booking. By this time the room that I requested was already booked. We moved to another room, it was better but not what I requested. After all, we enjoyed our stay but should not have been jerked around. The room that I requested was available for us at the time of check in. We were just not assigned to it. I just didn't have the energy for the back and forth.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham. What stood out most was the exceptional cleanliness of the room. Everything was spotless upon arrival, from the bathroom to the bedding, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain a high standard throughout the hotel.
The housekeeping staff deserve special recognition for their attention to detail. My room was serviced promptly each day, and I always returned to a fresh, immaculate space. Towels were neatly arranged, amenities were replenished without having to ask, and every aspect of the room was maintained to a very high standard.
The professionalism and efficiency of the housekeeping team truly enhanced my stay and made me feel comfortable and well cared for. Their dedication did not go unnoticed and reflects positively on the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.
I would highly recommend Hyatt Regency Birmingham and look forward to staying there again.

My friends and I had a very disappointing stay. When we checked into our room on the 7th floor, it was extremely hot. We were told an engineer would come within 15 minutes, but no one ever showed up. When we called back, the front desk employee was rude and unprofessional.
After being moved to another room, the TV did not work. We also had issues with our parking pass not working after the room change. The next morning, the shower water was cold and shut off completely without any notice from the hotel.
To make matters worse, there was no iron or refrigerator in the room, and the TV remote did not work. Overall, the customer service and room conditions did not meet expectations.
Very impressed with staff. TJ was very helpful and patient. He helped us unload and move our mountain of belongings to our room
