Pros:

Staff is very friendly and supportive. Room was good, small but comfortable.
Minibar and tea set are available; they even provided the ground coffee and a filter!

Cons:

Need of large cash deposit is ridiculous. Cash withdrawal or transfer of money back'n'forth would cost to foreigner ~5E; suggestion to write down all card details doesnt sound nice these days

Ruido y vibracion procedente de discoteca en el sotano
Pros:

En la habitacion puedes encontrar productos para hacerte un cafe, te, fruta, leche e incluso galletas. En recepcion puedes coger mas de estos productos si lo deseas.

Cons:

Si te alojas en la planata baja, no podras dormir. Nosotros teniamos 2 habitaciones la 8 y la 10. Justo debajo hay un pub/discoteca fatalmete insonorizada. El viernes el ruido era molesto pero se podia aguantar, sin embargo el sabado fue insoportable, toda la tarde hasta las 12 de la noche la musica sonaba. El problema ademas del ruido era la vibracion. Insoportable estar en la habitacion. Dejabas una botella de agua en el suelo y el agua se movia de la vibracion. Se lo comente en recepcion y el chico me pidio disculpas 5 veces pero me dijo que estaria asi hasta las 12 de la noche. Me ofrecio unos tapones para los oidos. A pesar de los tapones no se podia estar en la habitacion.
La ducha sin tocar a ningun boton derepente caia agua muy muy caliente que ferepente caia agua helada.
El colchon de la habitacion estaba en malas condiciones, saliendose los muelles por uno de los laterales.
De dejaron olvidada una toalla colgada en el cuarto de baño que estaba mojada, por lo que intuí que era del huesped anterior. Sin embargo esto no fue problema porque la meti en el armario hasta acabar mi estancia en el hotel.
En definitiva, yo busco un hotel para ducharme comodamente y descansar bien para afrontar el siguiente dia. En este hotel no podras hacer ninguna de estas dos cosas (al menos antes de las 12 de la noche) si te tocan estas habitaciones.

A tiny room in a nice hotel
Pros:

The staff were great, breakfast was very good. To get there from Temple Meads station, catch bus 8 to the Victoria Rooms. It is a two-minute walk from there. The room, or what there was of it, was nicely furnished.

Cons:

My single room was tiny! The shower temperature was either stone cold or boiling hot, nothing in between was possible. Probably the smallest room I have ever slept in.
