I stay hyatt regency two nights it was good but it's very Expensive in Addis Ababa.
We naturally had high expectations when staying at Hyatt, but there was something truly special about the atmosphere at Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa.
We noticed it from the very beginning, from the security screening and check-in process to the concierge personally showing us to our room. Every member of staff we interacted with during our stay was genuinely eager to help, and they made us feel exceptionally welcome. The staff appeared confident, comfortable, and empowered in their roles.
Because the experience felt so distinctive, we asked a few questions about what made it different. We were told that Hyatt Regency genuinely lives its values. Strong leadership focuses on employee growth and development, placing greater emphasis on guest experience than on rigid procedures and protocols. Staff are encouraged to be themselves and to treat guests more like friends than customers.
This approach is clearly visible throughout the hotel and creates an extraordinary guest experience. We believe that employee engagement and staff loyalty are exceptionally high at Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa, and the positive impact on guests is evident in every interaction.
Beyond the outstanding service, we were especially impressed by the hotel's architecture and layout. Although the property is sizeable, it maintains an intimate atmosphere, feeling like a true oasis amidst the bustle of the city. The art and décor throughout the hotel are absolutely magnificent. The hotel also looks very well-maintained.

Exceptional service from check in to check out. By far the best hotel option in Addis for long and short term stays. Absolutely no complaints at all, stuff is amazing and many thanks to Tsion for the warm welcome and smooth check in and out.
And special thanks to Mrs Genet for making certain that my experience was nothing but impeccable. This woman is the epitome of great customer care. Even on her days off she still made sure I received the help I needed.

I enjoy a lot in cascarra one of the best customer service in Hyatt facilities are great,comfortable and spacious…it it a piece of art and very relaxing especially in the afternoon ande the waiter’s are very friendly and helpful ESPECIALLY TADDESE

I had a very pleasant stay at Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa. The hotel has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, with clean and comfortable facilities that made the stay enjoyable.
What stood out most was the quality of service. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. I would especially like to recognize Batiru at the reception, who was extremely resourceful and always willing to help. He became my go-to person whenever I needed assistance, and his support made my experience even more memorable.
The food and beverage experience at The Kitchen was also good, with attentive service, good food quality, and a comfortable ambience. My only suggestion would be to broaden the menu variety by offering a better balance between Ethiopian cuisine and familiar international options, as guests may want both local flavours and meals they are used to.
Overall, I had a positive experience and would be very likely to recommend Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa to family, friends, or colleagues visiting the area.
Great atmosphere and delicious coffee. The pastries were fresh, the service was quick, and the cozy setting made it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. And big shoutout to Tade who was amazing.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and almost 3 days, before leaving late in the evening for a midnight flight. Hotel has prime location, but location is also a bit problematic, as you need to be careful and watch your belongings in the vicinity of the hotel. Hotel is very nice, our Regency Suite was clean, comfy, bed was hard, which we liked, everything worked well. Staff very friendly, but sometimes also quite confused, like we ordered a hotel shuttle to the airport, so somebody called to the room that shuttle is ready, so we go down for check out, and front desk lady asks if we would like to arrange a transport... some miscommunication obviously. We also used massage treatment in the spa and nail treatment, fitness is very nicely equipped, and breakfast was good. Regency club was nice, for offerings were a bit underwhelming.
Great place, close to airport and major resurants in the city. Good for a business traveller. I bet it must be good for holiday visitors too
Stayed many times at the Hyatt or work and enjoyed each visit. Friendly staff, many options for food/drinks and a clean hotel.
You have to compliment this wonderful hotel, where the food is excellent and above all the staff, especially Dagmawit, who is very professional. It feels like being at home.
