Great breakfast, very outdated.
Pros:

They had a great breakfast

Cons:

The rooms were stuffy, carpet was stained, first room was still dirty. Didn’t feel like a home away from home. Had to wear shoes in the room.

Good breakfast and a covenant location
Pros:

The cheapest king bedroom was a lot nicer than I expected! TGI Fridays was conveniently connected to the hotel to avoid the heat. Was nice to be able to take the skywalk to the Mall of America to avoid traffic and parking. Only complaint was the air conditioning was a bit loud, but we were able to shut room door that separated us from the main area. The temperature was nice, room was clean, and the breakfast was amazing! I loved how I could my own yogurt bowel. Rooms have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hand soap, and a makeup remover wipe. Either the hair product or the water was hard, but my hair tangled a lot more and felt off. Hot chocolate was available and it looked like there were 2 normal sized pools that went about 5’ deep and a hot tub. I was surprised to see that the cheapest king room had 2 small fridges, one with a nice sized freezer. Microwave, coffee maker, cable TV, alarm, and a phone were in the room.

Everything was wonderful and will be back if when we decide to visit Bloomington again.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good, with a variety of foods available.
Son loved the pool available. It was busy, but expected. Rooms clean and staff always were welcoming when they were in your presence.

Cons:

Only complaint was the guest above our room were noisy in the middle of the night. However this is not a complaint on the hotel. Guest should be more respectful of those around them.

Best Birthday!
Pros:

Stayed here to celebrate my son’s 7th birthday at Mall of America. I did note the reason upon booking and they decorated the room for him with balloons, bag full of goodies and gave him a gift redemption card for their gift shop. The hotel was very clean! Staff were friendly and super helpful. The breakfast bar had it going on with a great combination of hot foods as well as cold. (Mini Belgium waffles, biscuits, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, gravy, cereal, boiled eggs, yogurt bar, bagels) I love the convenience of TGIF being directly attached to the hotel and the mall being a 4-5 minute walk from the hotel. They do provide shuttle service but we didn’t need it. I did not have to move my car not once. It wasn’t overly crowded, at one point my son had one of the 2 whirlpools to himself. The pools closed at midnight which gave him a ton of time to swim that was a plus!

Pros:
