Looks clean, but the neighborhood was noisy… Yes, it was 3 July so maybe people were partying more but a lot of people were out on their balconies at the apartment buildings next-door. Telephones did not work. Neither did the HDMI for prime video. I had to park two blocks down for $25 which should’ve been comped. I paid additional 20 or $30 to be on the second floor in order not to hear people walking above me because it was all plank flooring. It’s beautiful boutique like but because of their location I don’t think I would stay there again without a discount. They are overpriced. I asked for toothbrush and toothpaste because I forgot them and she said I had to go to the store to buy them. When you charge someone almost $300 a night for a room and you can’t provide toothpaste and toothpaste and toothbrush then you are not in the luxury category. You’re a six or seven out of 10.

The staff was very helpful with our luggage.
For some reason the outside of the hotel reeked of pissed, like if homeless live outside or unless 30+ dogs go there to do theirs business.
the rooms and facilities are nice but beware the because the block that it is on is very overcrowded with apartments and there is no parking and this hotel charged you to use their parking 3 blocks away so if you are elderly this is not a good option.
parking and price
Recently updated rooms, good ac, decent water pressure, hot water.
Take a photo of the ammenities in the room before you leave. Particularly the vanity mirror in the bathroom. It "turns up missing often" and without photo evidence you cannot debate them. Parking options were not good, but it was 4th of july.
I didn’t like how they didn’t have parking for the hotel is offer down the street for $35 dollars a night n cash only which is ridiculous
The hotel really needs to replace its towels—they were old, stained, and smelled bad. The shower was dirty and sprayed water everywhere. The bathroom was extremely small. Also the duvet had no cover, which is completely unhygienic.

Almost no daylight in lower floor rooms
The parking sucked the room was way too small they kept my deposit for no reason never again
I had a great day at Lumea by the Sea! The oceanfront location was ideal for a restful retreat, and the accommodations were tidy, comfortable, and contemporary. The experience was further enhanced by the outstanding service and kind staff.
