Veey friendly and helpful staff who provided a free bottke of wine when they heard it was our honeymoon.
The room was perfect, the location perfect.

Tout était absolument parfait, de l’emplacement idéal, en plein cœur de la zone commerçante, parfait pour flâner, découvrir les spécialités locales et dénicher quelques souvenirs, jusqu’à l’accueil chaleureux et attentionné du personnel.
Une équipe adorable, toujours disponible, arrangeante et aux petits soins pour rendre votre séjour aussi agréable qu’exceptionnel.

L'albergo è in una posizione ottima, proprio al centro della Old Town di Kunming, in una struttura storica. Le finestre isolano bene i rumori esterni persistenti fino a tarda sera. Camera abbastanza spaziosa e pulita. Personale cortese.

La consiglio soprattutto per la posizione. Camera non é molto grande si fa fatica a muoversi se si ha più di un bagaglio. Personale non parla inglese e la camera non ha aria condizionata ma un ventilatore. Pulizia accettabile. Avevo aspettative superiori.

Albergo estremamente affascinante, con bellissime camere ed in ottima posizione. Ho inoltre apprezzato moltissimo la cura che la manager Lingling ci ha dedicato sia durante il nostro soggiorno, consigliandoci cosa fare e dove mangiare, che prima del nostro arrivo, aiutandoci nella pianificazione degli spostamenti: ci ha fatto sentire veramente coccolati!

The property is so charming and unique, I loved my room. The staff were kind and accommodating, there were lovely little touches such as a welcome note left on my arrival, and a complimentary tea left for me when I had been out all afternoon. The location is excellent, but be warned there is a fair amount of noise when windows are open, because it is the tourist hot-spot, but that's part of the charm for me as well! In this location you have markets and bars and restaurants on your doorstep. When the windows are closed the noise is negligible. There isnt air conditioning but this isnt a problem in such a mild environment.

This hotel is a feature of the Kunming Old Town, built 90 years ago and a wonderful design. The rooms are generously sized and if you are lucky enough to have a room that overlooks the street you will very much a part of the scene. It is a 7 minute walk to the Theatre for the dance and singing performances of Dynamic Yunnan. You must try the thin pancakes on a stick right next door. Fabulous! The staff were fabulous and helpful.

The location in the old town was superb. The property is a classic architectural masterpiece of 90 years of age. The room and facilities were great, clean and comfortable. I was on the top floor at the point end of the building overlooking the cobblestoned street. Close to the Kunming Arts Theatre, a 7 minute walk to enjoy Dynamic Yunan dance and music performance. The young male staff member was incredible, receiving me at 3AM with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble.

The Hotel Manager was super. She was so helpful, organising a taxi to pick us up from the airport and booking our train tickets to Shangri La. She made recommendations for eating in the evening, told us where to find everything we were looking for and generally made our trip to Kunming very enjoyable.
