A hotel I would gladly return to
Pros:

Upon arrival our room wasn't available because of a temporary maintenance problem. Staff were able to find another room for us, offered free parking and a slightly reduced price. The next day our room was ready.

Cons:

Elevators sometimes seemed unusually slow. Lighting in the room was a little inadequate in my opinion. One lamp in the corner and 2 small bulbs over the night stand was insufficient to read unless direct under the light.

Pros:

Location on waterfront easy access to enjoy walks and fishing , breakfast buffet was good, easy parking around hotel, next door restaurant with pool tables and foosball for kids with affordable menu options. Fridge and microwave in room were nice add-on.

Cons:

Pool is quite small and I wouldn't says it's the best location at hotel right off the lobby.

I have stayed here multiple times. Always enjoy my stay. Always treated well by front desk, managers and hotel staff.
Pros:

Great staff, wonderful location, terrific free breakfast, comfortable room.

Cons:

I never like the price 😅😅 but it is comparable to others in the same location

Pros:

We visited Detroit and wanted to also visit Canada. We chose this hotel due to other reviews. I am so happy we did. This hotel was great. I agree with other reviewers to pay the extra to get river view. It is amazing. The front desk staff were amazing. The room clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was good and there were at least 3 staff members taking care of the food/service. There was only 1 elevator working but it did not cause us any issues.
We would definitely stay here again . It is within walking distance of the riverfront and Caesars. We stayed at 3 different hotels on our trip and this was the best overall!

You Must Go Here!
Pros:

We just had a most wonderful experience in Windsor at the Holiday Inn Express. The location was superb on the Detroit River but the staff was EXTRAORDINARY! They were so kind and caring from the managers to the cleaning staff. They each were patient, helpful, and genuinely caring. The river views were stunning from the upper room but it was the people who make this place special. Go here when you visit Windsor and you won't be disappointed. Thank you, all you wonderful hosts at the Windsor Holiday Inn Express!
