Wonderful London Vibe in a Great Neighborhood.
Pros:

I loved my 3rd floor room. It look out on a leafy tree with lots of natural light. Bed and linens were lovely. Love the history of the Gore. Vintage Rolling Stones and traditional maximum 1960's London vibe. Bar, restaurant and library are all charming and open late.

Cons:

The carpets in the stairs and commons areas need to be replaced because they smell of cigarette smoke from bygone years.

This was an exceptional treat for a special occasion and came well up to expectations!
Pros:

Breakfast v. Good with good service. Staff intelligent and responsive and thoughtful.Also food offer late evening just right for after concert.

Cons:

There was a mix up ( I was charged too little originally) but dealt with well.

Pros:

The location is great. Especially if you’re at the royal Albert hall. But…like most hotels in London it’s a tiny room and very overpriced for what you get. Plus they stick a 5% service charge on your bill to “reward their hard working staff”. Apparently 358/night isn’t enough to adequately reward them. 🫨 I’d say if you’re alone and going to RAH it’s a great location as literally just around the corner. Otherwise I’d probably stay somewhere else more central.

Cons:

The price. The rooms are small. I asked for a quiet room and to be fair they stuck me at the end of the corridor which was great. It was relatively quiet.

Perfect location, lovely hotel.
Pros:

Sumptuous boutique hotel, a stone's throw from the Royal Albert Hall, and Hyde Park ideal for the Proms. Exceptionally warm welcome, all staff were charming and helpful. Room was comfortable with all the amenities you would expect in a good hotel. Would recommend this hotel for those wanting to stay in London, slightly away from the hustle and bustle

I loved the fact it felt more like being in a home than a boxy hotel. The staff were fantastic.

I loved its old fashioned feel, but with necessary mod cons- and that I had a tub rather than boring shower only

Awful breakfast; sneaky service charges.
Pros:

Location, some of the staff.
Room was tiny but clean and comfortable enough. Nowhere to sit though.

Cons:

Ridiculous service charges added to bill for everything. Why?? Isn’t service part of a hotel experience? Not seen this cheeky level of add-ons anywhere else.
Felt ripped off. Service was good in parts - some staff great, a couple not so great.

Continental breakfast was a disgrace. Worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had - and most expensive. Bread basket = couple of dry bits of brown toast. Selection of pastries = one minuscule slightly stale croissant. Weird charcuterie plate - lump of prosciutto and a few slices of chorizo. Just awful. And £45 for two.
