Staff was extremely friendly and the room was comfortable.
Pros:

Breakfast was great, and the woman at the desk gave us complimentary tickets, which was extremely nice of her. Parking was convenient even though we had to pay for it. Our sink was not draining well and maintenance came and fixed it very quickly. The shower was fantastic! The hotel sits exactly where I had a student apartment 55 years ago, so that was fun!

Cons:

There's no vent fan in the bathroom! The loud music across the street at 2 am! That we had to pay for parking. It's a little congested around the location, but I guess that's development.

Great location, great service, we'd stay here again!

Fresh baked cookies! Everyone was very friendly and helpful!

No laundry, but even that wasn't a problem, as there was a laundromat right around the corner.

Fun time in Madison.
Pros:

Proximity to Kohl Center, campus and downtown. Quiet.

Cons:

Maybe a little dated feeling, but clean and comfortable. Being walkable to everything was great.

Pros:

I loved the proximity to the University of WI and the parking onsite. I do not like paying for the parking but I understand it is Madison and the lack of parking is an issue. The lobby is very nice, the bar is awesome, the rooms are also very nice so I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was REALLY OUTSTANDING! I have never had such a helpful staff at the front desk. Usually I see anywhere from a bit rude to okay. The staff at the desk, no matter what time I was there, was fantastic.

Cons:

My hallway was noisy at times - we were right by the elavator and the ice machine. That's not really a hotel issue though. The shower has that super awkward handle where it takes forever for the water to get hot and then it's crazy hot and there's the typical low pressure you can't overcome. It's just a typical issue with all hotels though.
