Staff is excellent here at this property. Sophia at the check in was courteous and professional. I travel extensively for work and the front desk staff set the tone. Sofia was a Rockstar. Also shout out to Monica and Michael at the bistro were so great.. cheerful and prompt.

We were actually booked in another hotel down the street, but were sent here due to the evacuation orders from the chemical leak in Garden Grove.
We were thankful the Courtyard took us and other evacuees in. The staff was great, very nice and accommodating. Michael and Raul served us a delicious breakfast, which was only free to us as evacuees because it was included in our original booking, which Courtyard honored, but is not generally included with a stay here. We had the breakfast burrito and a perfectly made venti iced mocha.
And, unfortunately, that is the best we can say about the hotel. We were to stay in an "accessible" king room, but the floors were a trip hazard...uneven with bulk under the carpet. My husband and I almost fell a couple of times. The other issues were that the room was split, as if to have two rooms, which made it feel dark and very small. In addition, the bathroom only had a toilet and a roll-in shower, but nowhere to set anything down...not to mention, there was no sink in there. The sink was in the "living room," so after using the restroom, you had to walk out to the other room to wash your hands, which is not only inconvenient, but yucky! As for the bedroom portion, the bed was fine, no complaints about that, but there were no USB ports in the lamps, as there are in a more modern hotel, so we had to go out and purchase charging bricks so we could charge our phones overnight. Wish I had taken photos.
The age of this hotel is very apparent and could use some renovations if returning guests is the goal. Again, the staff were great, friendly and accommodating and would be a good reason to return if the rooms themselves were more comfortable and safe.

I arrived at the property to be told I didn't have a reservation even though I had received a trip # and a receipt from Priceline.com. Mwinji was the beautiful staff member who went above and beyond trying to rectify a mistake that wasn't hers. I was on the phone with Priceline only to be told by the supervisor they were going to cancel my reservation and refund me. The customer service from Priceline left a very bad taste in my mouth and I won't be using that company again. I was even told by the supervisor to avoid a mistake like this happening again that it is best to book directly through the property. Mwinji was diligent in resolving the issue. Her customer service skills are top notch and did not go unnoticed. In times like today when everyone likes to complain about everything, I would like to make sure Mwinji and her associate Sophie receive a kudos. If you are visiting the Anaheim area of California I highly suggest staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Cypress Anaheim/Orange County. The whole staff is nothing but pleasant and professional. Marriott Bonvoy has earned a new member in me and I plan on returning to the property soon for another wonderful stay.

Room & hotel was clean and staff was extremely kind & provided lots of recommendations. Michael and Raul at Starbucks were very nice as well. There is everything around you that you can think of so excellent location. Hotel was 20min from Disney which was super convenient without paying the price for being so close. Overall, very happy with our visit.
