Riverview Inn & Suites

The hotel was very dirty with outdated miss matched furnishings. The pool was a cloudy shade of grey . We couldn't smell any use of chlorine pool upkeep. There was also a piece of some sort of debris floating in the pool. The sliding door in our room didn't lock. The television wouldn't work properly, and we had to call twice about that problem, but they were prompt both times and eventually solved the issue.

It needs to be upgraded. The tv was small the sheets look old .

Internet and breakfast

The breakfast would recommend something other than apples and oranges

The Internet was terrible and they could offer a bit of a better breakfast than apples and oranges.

1. Got king size bed but the pillows are super small and flat. I’m talking twin size bed pillows.
2. Dirty pillows cases little stains
3. They do not give you full size towels. They give you two face cloths and two med/small towels. They don’t give body size shower towels.
4. Turn down service is none existent. We needed new towels due to well the miniature ones so we put the card on the door they give you that says turn down service requested. All three days. No one showed up.
5. 8 am guy is outside the door with a very loud carpet steamer. Woke us up at 8. And then the alway was soaked the whole day. Had to walk on gross wet swooshy carpet.
6. Front desk support doesn’t exist. As in there is never a person there. It has a note to call them and it calls the girls cell and she is very unpleasant. No hospitality at this place at all.

I stayed because it was the only hotel with availability on what was a very hot weekend in the summer. But I won’t stay here again unless my life depends on it. Is there worse out there. Absolutely

Do not stay here. We paid over $350 for two nights and had an unsanitary room for our entire stay. Our first room hadn’t been cleaned at all, with the beds left unmade. We were moved to a second room, but it wasn’t any better. There was an opened body wash left in the bathroom and sand in both beds, even though we never went to the beach. We reported these issues to the front desk three separate times during our stay, plus one phone call. Every single time, the staff said they would fix the problem, send housekeeping, or move us to a new room, but every single time, nothing happened. On our last attempt, a staff member told us he would call back within 10 minutes with a new room. We packed our bags and waited, but no call ever came. I called back 50 minutes later and was told they were “waiting for a room to open up,” despite having been told just 50 minutes earlier that everything was fine. We ended up sleeping on our own blankets because the beds were unusable, and we had had enough. On top of that, the pool had so much chlorine in it that our eyes were burning just from being in the water. The staff were pleasant, but their promises were completely unreliable, with zero follow-through despite repeated assurances from multiple staff members over multiple hours. If you value basic cleanliness or want a hotel that actually does what it says, go anywhere else

The back balcony door does not lock, one of the tub jets was crazy spitting water right off of the tub just about. Their also was a empty open beer can in my fridge when I opened it. The lamp was broken so the light build was just hanging down. One of the wall lamps was wiggling pretty good and blinking. I was thinking about it starting an electoral fire so I shut them off.
