Location is the best it can be, old but very clean Hotel, staff really helpfull.
I really do not get comfortable for the room, I guess for 200 euros /night they gave me the smallest room they had. air conditioning was not good.

Location very central to Madrid
Rooms were tired and view was a cement wall. Breakfast was expensive add on and not very good
Great location, we were visiting for a double family celebration and the hotel upgraded our room (rm 125, large, clean and totally quiet despite the hotel proximity to the main street). Reception feels upscale, quiet & peaceful, lounge bar open in the evenings or rooftop bar with fantastic views over Madrid open most of the day.
Hotel is about 10 steps from the metro stop (Google Maps suggested 300m - not often it is wrong !) and 10 mins walk to hundreds of cafes / bars./ restaurants. Drinks not overly priced for a nice hotel in a main European capital (€20 for a cocktail and a large beer). We didn’t eat there but friends said breakfast probably wasn’t worth the €24 each it costs. Loads of cafes within 10 mins where you can get coffee / croissants / eggs / etc for half that.
Nothing - just comments from friends about breakfast not really being worth the money.
