Pros:

L’établissement est propre, en plein centre et à côté d’une bouche de métro. Le Rooftop est clairement en plus et des chambres sont bien climatisées.

Cons:

Le personnel à l’accueil n’est pas toujours très accueillant, et il faut quitter sa chambre suffisamment tôt. Si vous voulez qu’on vous change vos serviettes ou qu’on fasse votre lit.

Cons:

We had some noisy neighbours. Fighting, loud music and talking very loud, both in the early morning and late at night. We could hear lots of doors closing and people move around.

Central location - great place to stay!
Pros:

Very central location. Clean rooms. Staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive. Enjoyed the rooftop pool and the views! I highly recommend visitors to Madrid consider this hotel foe their visit. Hotel Emperador is at the top of my list for accomodation, should I have the opportunity to visit Madrid again!

Location great, clean and facilities were lovley.
Pros:

the location is great right in the heart of Madrid, you can walk to most things from the hotel. The pool area and roof top bar are lovely, the down side that is not clear on the website is the cost of a day visit to the pool, our daughter cam to join us for the day and we paid full rate for her. I understand charging for use of the pool, however as a guest of the hotel, I would have thought you could offer a free day guest pass or at least a discount, especially as it was not busy & we had lunch & drinks.

Cons:

The staff that we had contact with were not overly helpful and everything appeared to be a hassle to them. Tea and coffee was not replaced in the room unless you asked and our room was missed from being cleaned on one of the days, which wasn't a problem, however we asked for the tea and coffee to be replaced, which just got ignored.

It was in the centre of Madrid in walking distance to the historical centre. Also the roof pool and area was amazing as it was scorching hot in Madrid.
