We loved staying at The Inverary Inn and will recommend it to anyone travelling to Scotland.
Pros:

We loved the room. It was large and very well appointed and unique in it's interior design and furnishings. It was unlike the uniform , blandness of many modern hotels, all chrome and white and sterile. It felt warm and welcoming and comfortable. Another guest and I commented on how we enjoyed how it was old -fashioned, but very well maintained.

Parking at the hotel.

Pleasant stay but the tiny room took the shine off it

Cons:

Accueil très mauvais de la part de la réceptionniste, demandes dignes des anciens pays de l'est : où allez-vous? d'où venez-vous, passeports exigés, carte d'identités non acceptées, demande du N° d'immatriculation de la voiture alors que nous n'utilisions pas le parc de l'hôtel (pas de place disponibles), et tout cela sans un sourire ni un mot de bienvenue!

We had arrived early and were waiting around as no one at reception, when I asked for service I was told abruptly that check in was at 3pm , we then had to take our bags back to the car as we were not offered somewhere to place our bags until 3pm

Pros:

Our room, also small was perfect for our 1 night stay. Very comfortable.Couldn’t fault the staff. We loved the view out the front over the loch and dinner and especially breakfast there was fabulous. Huge options for continental and cooked breakfast.

Lovely hotel in idilic location, shame about some of the staff and the parking arrangements.
Pros:

Fantastic location, couldn't be faulted. Rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained, looks like it's had a major refurb.

Cons:

Parking has been sacrificed to outdoor seating area. Staff on arrival didn't seem to be overly bothered with us hardly looking up from what they were doing.
