Great Location, But Not Worth the Price
Pros:

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5

The location is excellent — on a quiet street and about a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.

The room was clean and spacious, but both the room and bathroom felt very dated and are in need of a significant renovation. The bathroom was particularly disappointing and did not match the price point of the hotel. Unfortunately, the room lacked the charm and atmosphere I was hoping for during my stay in Paris.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast was average, with nothing particularly memorable. The hallways also had a noticeable odor at times.

Overall, a great location, but I don’t feel the hotel offered good value for the money given the condition of the rooms and facilitie

2-Star at $800/night - Avoid
Pros:

The property was listed on Bonvoy as with a 4.2 star rating. At 780 Euros, it seemed steep, but maybe the property was that good. Wrong Assumption.

Just the opposite. Rooms are 20 years outdated and in poor condition… stained carpets, damaged furniture, torn curtains, etc.

Service was nonexistent. Even for an Ambassador Elite guest. I had requested and been assured some vegan options for breakfast— none even after arriving and discussing and receiving assurance from the hotel management. Coffee/espresso order taking 20 min with excuses that “this is close, drinking instead.”

Just a terrible hotel. Will not stay again.

The best hotel (and staff) you could possibly ask for!
Pros:

I don’t often take the time to write reviews, but with this hotel I felt I absolutely must let you know how amazing of an experience we had. From check in to check out, we were treated like the upmost appreciated guests, I was so pleasantly surprised. Upon arriving, we were immediately met at our vehicle and had our bags swept away and safely stored, later brought up to our room. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. The check in process was extremely smooth, even though we arrived almost 8 hours before check in time. Our room was not ready, but not long after we were offered a courtesy room where we could rest and freshen up until receiving our actual room. I have never had a hotel offer such a thing before. The woman working the front desk, I wish I had gotten her name, was beyond wonderful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and communicative, as with the rest of the staff. We felt entirely cared for if not spoilt our entire stay here.

If I had to make one suggestion, it would be that the restaurant show the same courtesy as the hotel. Although an absolutely stunning setting, the “vibe” was just “off”, in my opinion, compared to the ambience of the rest of the hotel. Staff was not quite as receptive and it made breakfast a bit less enjoyable. I’m sure it varies by experience, and I’m hopeful that others could have had a better one. Nonetheless, this shouldn’t take away from your stay at this beautiful property.

I would highly, highly recommend a stay here, especially given the perfect location walkable to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Élysées, etc. Overall, a lovely spot for tourists or anyone looking for the perfect hotel in Paris.

Best to avoid
Pros:

Good location near Eiffel Tower, although 20 minute walk. Hotel is created from several old buildings. We reserved several months ahead of time and had asked for a deluxe room. When we arrived - after check in time on reservation, we were told it would be about three hours before the room was ready as the current tenants were checking out late. Instead, we were given a room in a back building that had no elevator. To access, we had to walk a maze around a courtyard restaurant as the kept closing off access to the restaurant, which would have allowed a short, direct walk. The irony is that the restaurant wasn’t even open! The bed was worn out. Each morning I woke with a backache from sleeping in it. The 1/2 wall in the shower did not seal well to the tub, so the floor was essentially flooded every time we took a shower, unless we piped towels along the tub to catch the water.

We had no problems with peeling paint, etc, as noted in some reviews, but this is not a place I’d recommend. Motel 8s in the US are better than this.

Disappointing Experience
Pros:

We recently stayed at this hotel at the beginning of our trip through France. We started with 5 days in Paris. We booked this hotel because we stayed here in 2022 and had a wonderful experience so we were looking forward to coming back.

Unfortunately, our experience was not good. First was the check in process. While we were thanked for our Marriott loyalty (Platinum life time members), plus I made the reservation 9 months ago but we were informed that we were not able to be upgraded. The staff member acted like because we were paying with points (a LOT of points!), we were not eligible for anything.

The room was small, old and in need of updating. Housekeeping was consistently late or nonexistent. The included breakfast was adequate but not up to the previous experience.

One of our biggest disappointments was the garden. When we were there in 2022, we watched them build the new garden and stayed through the remodeling. We were looking forward to enjoying the garden. However, it is not for use by the hotel guests. It is a separate restaurant and a very expensive one at that.

To the management of this hotel and to Marriott, I have been a loyal Marriott customer for over 20 years but I am seriously considering giving more of our travel business to other brands after this experience. We will not return to this hotel for future Paris visits.

Nice hotel service not so good.
Pros:

The hotel is a little dated and could do with a refresh but is full of charm and character it’s a shame the same can’t be about the team. I am a regular user of Marriott and have to say I was so disappointed by the level of service at the hotel. When questioned the team just referred back to the management saying they were following instructions (non were big asks - a late checkout till 3 but was told had to pay for the last hour 2-3). I think the concept of customer service got a little lost and such a shame as all other stays the team have always gone the extra mile but sadly not here.

Not as portrayed online! Extremely disappointing
Pros:

This hotel was not up to the standard it presents online. I'm not sure if I was treated poorly because I was traveling alone as a woman or because I used points. I am titanium elite with Marriott. and I into the very smallest and worst room in the hotel with only a tiny window hidden behind the cabinet and TV. No light into the room.

This hotel is Not up to the standards of Marriott or the Renaissance brand. It was a horrible welcome to Paris for my very first time.

I had booked this hotel months before and they knew I was coming. I was supposed to be there two nights and called Marriott 800 number to have them cancel my second day.

When I was shown to my room I immediately asked them to change my room. It was not what I booked and because of my status with Marriott I should've gotten an upgrade from what I booked. They said they could not. The front desk woman who escorted me to my room (in another building) said a I booked a classic room, this is a classic room. But I booked a deluxe room. When I went back down to the front desk to show them I booked a deluxe and wanted a deluxe they then all the sudden said that room was a deluxe. It was a shoebox with a minuscule bathroom and not a deluxe.

Part of the reason I chose this hotel was because it looked like a charming Paris hotel that could be in a movie. The courtyard with the bistro tables, plants and twinkle lights made it seem like I would have a lovely place to dine alfresco. The online portrayal is very deceptive.

The patio was in shambles and nothing like the pictures. The plants were dead.

Breakfast the next morning was not very welcoming either. The sign said wait to be seated so I did and nobody came. Finally I peaked around the corner and a woman started walking towards me and just waved me back towards a back room. I got back there and there and was pretty much ignored for a bit. Then they said to help myself to the buffet. They did not offer me anything off the a menu. Did not offer me water.

They put together a table next to me for a family that they somehow knew was going to sit there. When The Family got there they brought them carafes of water. I asked one of the five servers wandering around if they could get me some water and he said I had to go to the hallway and get it off of the self-serve area. Meanwhile The Family next to me was able to order custom food.

The only person who treated me like a valued guest was the bartender.

Very disappointing stay
Pros:

We chose this hotel due to its excellent location & good reviews. The hotel employees throughout our stay were welcoming, helpful and friendly. However, this hotel is in dire need of a renovation. Our "upgraded" room was in poor condition: Moldy/musty odor, climate control that couldn't be regulated, old, damaged carpet, peeling paint, damaged/stained furniture. We had to open the windows to aerate the room, but the street noise was constant all night long. We were moved to another "upgraded" room for the remainder of our stay, which was quieter but still had a musty odor, & we surmised that the climate system throughout the hotel hadn't been properly maintained. The shower handle mechanism didn't hold in a fixed position. This room also had very old, stained carpet & damaged furniture, & consequently it didn't feel clean. The housekeeping was below average. Apparently no one bothered to vacuum the old carpet, which was apparent due to bits of plastic waste that were present on the carpet from the time we occupied the room. We only received turndown service on one of the nights of our stay. Further, the Marriott website indicated that the hotel provided L'Occitaine amenities, which it did not. Another brand was provided, which had a very powerful floral scent, so it didn't matter that the housekeeper failed to replace the empty products. We used other products that we fortunately had with us. There was supposed to be a Nespresso coffee machine in the room, but the machine provided was another brand & was incomprehensible to use. Given the disrepair of the rooms we occupied & misrepresented features, this was not a comfortable or pleasant stay & therefore a poor value. We would unfortunately not recommend this hotel unless and until it has had a complete renovation.

Another Weekend In Paris
Pros:

Deco hotel in a great location. Easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and there’s a really nice bar next door with excellent drinks. Let’s just say… we didn’t only go there once😎

We had a lovely stay and felt very comfortable throughout. It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard but still gets things right.

The hotel also offers a limousine service for private tours around Paris, which is actually a pretty cool way to explore the city.

Amazing staff
Pros:

From the moment we entered we were treated to a warm welcome by a very friendly guest services team.

Having worked in hospitality for over 2 decades, Pauline was just exceptional with our welcome, processing and personally escorting us to our room.

Wonderful location just steps from Trocadero Plaza for iconic pictures.

Central Location in Paris.
Pros:

Great Location in Paris. We stayed here for 3 nights. The front desk staff was friendly. The room is on smaller side - especially the bathroom - compared to previous hotel we stayed in. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The only issue we had was the shower not draining properly.

Lovely hotel in the 16th with safe location and walking distance to Eiffel. Plenty of shopping and cafes nearby. Only drawback is extra $300 hold on card when you check in.

Fantastic experience
Pros:

From the moment I arrived at Renaissance Paris Nobel, I felt truly pampered by an outstanding team. Ahmed greeted me at the taxi curb, immediately sensing that the driver was overcharging and taking care of everything—check-in, payments, and all the little details—so I could relax right away. His attentiveness set the tone for the entire stay.

Gael, the head concierge, demonstrated an encyclopedic knowledge of Paris and went above and beyond to arrange VIP experiences, share insider tips, and help us maximize value. His expert guidance made a world of difference and ensured we had an unforgettable time in the city.

The entire staff was superb, and the service levels felt truly 5-star. A few standout mentions:

Bar: Emma (first two nights) and Nevil (a newer member who joined us later) provided top-notch service with warmth and professionalism.
Bar and dining: Cyril was fantastic and added a personal touch to every interaction.
Room: Romain, the Manager, graciously upgraded our room and made everything feel incredibly comfortable.
Breakfast: Moushame and the restaurant team greeted us warmly and kept our mornings delightful.

Although I may not recall every name, the consistency of excellence across the team is clear. This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I travel frequently for work and leisure. The hotel itself is clean and elegant, but it’s the people who truly elevate it to five stars.

A small note from me: I usually never write reviews, but this stay was so remarkable that I felt compelled to share. Bravo to the Renaissance Paris Nobel for delivering a stay that was both memorable and effortlessly enjoyable. I look forward to returning.

Poor excuse of a Marriott.
Pros:

This hotel is a poor excuse for a Marriott. I booked the room on my work corporate rate and got a room that was at the very back and poorly maintained. The only good thing about this hotel was the walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. Otherwise probably the worst Marriott Ive stayed in. Sink was missing part of the handle. Sink is cracking, paint stripped in very noticeable area. Outside view needs a paint job very badly. Customer service was also very questionable.

Great location and wonderful staff. Highly recommend!
Pros:

We stayed here in early December 2025 on the first leg of our European vacation. We were very pleased with the hotel. We were two adults and two kids (21 and 16) in two rooms. The property was clean, the rooms were very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very good…walking distance to Eiffel Tower and Champes D’ Elysse (15-20 minutes each) Admittedly we were tourists in Paris for our first time but for us the easy access to those attractions and area restaurants was great. A special shout out to Ahmed (concierge). When I realized breakfast wasn’t included with my plan he offered me
a coffee and then brought over a tea for my wife and a box of croissants. The second morning he got me a coffee again and then surprised us at the door to our room with a “tea for mama” and a box of croissants. The third day as my wife and I were walking to breakfast he stopped us on the street, brought us back to the hotel and invited us for a complementary breakfast. Perhaps traveling with our 16 year old princess made us look poor???? All in all a very wonderful stay. Highly recommended.
