Great hotel, great location, clean and staff are friendly.
Pros:

Breakfast is basic, compared to European hotels, but we were delighted to get a breakfast in NYC and it set us up untill lunch time which was great.

Great location - very quiet - good amenities.
Pros:

The location is perfect - walk to anywhere in the East village or midtown, union square farmers market, you can jump the subway 2 blocks over.

Cons:

We had an issue with our room, even tho I paid for a king deluxe they put us in a king - it was claustrophobic- they moved us the next morning and it was perfect.

Great experience, especially because of the amazing staff.
Pros:

We had a really great experience at Hotel Evelyn. We came in for a 7 year olds birthday and Amal made it SO special with little goodie bags to welcome us into the room. We also really appreciated being able to text with Amal and Noah ahead of times for questions on check in. Would highly recommend the hotel and the downstairs restaurant. thank you Amal!

A cozy and stylish hotel in a great location near Madison Square Park. I loved the Art Deco touches, elegant interior, and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities were good, the bar was a lovely spot to unwind, and the bed was rather comfortable. A special mention for the quality cosmetics. Overall, a charming hotel with character, comfort, and understated elegance — a great place to stay in Manhattan.

Cons:

There were, however, a couple of disappointments. A coffee machine in the room would have been a welcome addition. The breakfast was particularly underwhelming and felt like a missed opportunity. I understand that $15 doesn't go very far in New York, but I would much rather pay $45 for a proper breakfast than pay less for an offering that barely qualifies as one.

Excellent emplacement, au coeur de Manhattan, déco sympa, une personne à l'accueil, qui parlait français, était vraiment charmante et professionnelle, c'était un vrai plus et participait à l'expérience positive. Très bien pour un séjour professionnel ou personnel de qq jours à NY

Cons:

Petit-déjeuner inclus très minimaliste (pas même un espresso inclus), un peu fort de café pour le prix de l'hôtel. Un peu plus et on demanderait de payer le tabouret pour s'assoir!! C'est New-York, on s'attend à des tarifs, mais là c'est décevant pour ce type d'hôtel à la déco grand style.
