expensive for what you actually get
Cons:

1. small, cramped room
2. take and go breakfast service. couldn't sit and eat there.
3. ended up having a drink at the much friendlier bar by the hotel entrance after we entered the bar further inside (which had free tables) and were told we had to first check with the staff at this bar entrance if we could sit. we were nonplussed, because those two staff saw us walking in and had not said anything.

Great location, pleasant hotel but room slightly dated and on small side.
Pros:

Great location. Comfy bed. Lovely lobby area, bar and coffee shop.

Cons:

Elevators too slow and too small. Room in small side. Style not as crisp in the bedroom as I’m the lobby. Very limited storage space.

We stayed 8 nights in the Evelyn and enjoyed everything, didn’t have time to visit the gym though
Pros:

Lovely comfortable bed, great friendly staff and beautiful decor. Lovely big walk in shower. Great location off of 5th Avenue but away from the crowds

Cons:

Had to ask for a kettle in the room

המיקום מעולה. ארוחת הבוקר "לקחת" ממש מינימלית, אבל הספיקה לנו ולא דרשנו יותר כי ממילא היה כלול במחיר החדר ללא אפשרות בחירה. צוות העובדים חביב מאד ושירותי אבל לא המנהל

Cons:

החדר קטן מאד וצפוף, ולא נקי, היה צריך לפנות שוב ושוב בבקשה לנקות כולל אבק בן שבועות שלא ניקו

NYC is still a great place to stay and visit, unfortunately the prices for everything will ensure it is the last time
Pros:

Reception staff were great, however the breakfast staff were rude and arrogant. Noticed by us and other diners in day one.
The breakfast is pointless and overpriced.

Cons:

As above, it felt unnecessary to complete both boxes

A good hotel in New York for couples
Pros:

The location is very good. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with the right portion size and good quality. The nightly rate of the hotel is high; however, this is New York. I stayed in a King room and the size for two people was quite tight. I can’t imagine what the smaller rooms are like.

Cons:

The hotel is expensive, from the rooms to the bar. However, the location partly makes up for it. The view from my room was not good, but the room itself was tastefully decorated.

Good location and nice rooms but service could be better
Pros:

Location was quite good. There is wholefoods market 2mins away, Barry's bootcamp is also quite near. Walking distance from the highline.
The hotel is very near flatiron and also along lower end of 5th avenue.

Room was very comfortable, nice firm bed, toiletries and bathrobes provided.

Cons:

Complimentary breakfast is mediocre at best.
You get a choice of pastry or overnight oats, drip coffee, tea or OJ. Its a choice of one food 1 drink. When I asked for a second cup of drip coffee they said no.

We arrived at the hotel very early and expected the room to not be ready. However, we came back at 3pm which is their check in time and the room was still not ready.

No hot drinks facility in room; water/snacks in room is chargeable.

Have to go to front desk to ask for water.

Having complimentary bottled water in the room is standard surely?

Perfect for your NYC stay!
Pros:

Great location in a cool neighbourhood and close to plenty of sites to see and bites to eat. The hotel has a great vibe and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for two people staying a few nights with plenty of space for our luggage without it feeling cramped. The sheets were DIVINE - I slept like a baby ☺️

Cons:

Nothing - would happily stay again!
