Friendly staff and clean rooms
Nothing
Great for us as we wanted a stop over for the ferry the next day. We took the opportunity to go on a circular walk along the road to the wood then down to the footpath walk along the Menai Straight back to the hotel. Food in the evening was great too. Didn't take breakfast as we set off early to go for a walk around The Dingle at Llangefni then had breakfast at the Avondale Cafe.
Great location
Nothing, but felt a little dated.
Disgusting
Nothing appalling
Staff was lovely and helpful
Nothing not to like extra pillow would have been nice only had one
Fantastic property - a bit dated but we were there for work and it’s great!
Staff are exceptional and the food was amazing!
Rooms are a bit dated and there’s not much sound proofing between them
Breakfast was very nice and service was very good there is a nice walk to the church and then on to the river to see a statue of Nelson and the bridge
The shower would not go to cold so had to have a cool bath instead
Nice easy location
Reception looks lovely
Bar man was brilliant
Outside seating area nice
Room the window and outside door couldn’t be opened as anyone could get into your room
Shower didn’t work
Insects all over bathroom
Pillows hard
No fan
Very noisy and door let loads light in
Food expensive for what it was
Good location
Nice staff
Comfortable room which could be improved by deep cleaning, replacing 2 chairs and putting new enamel around the plug on the bath.
We ate in the restaurant which was ok
Big car park
Typical UK hotel, needs money spending on it
Breakfast was not really worth £12 each
bed was fairly comfortable shower worked well
room was small and smelt when we arrived.lots of issues with the room. opened the door to be faced by a wardrobe. the bed was so close to a chest of drawers I scraped my leg each time I got out of bed. the bathroom was not good, a mouldy hole in the shower wall, mould in the corner of shower unit, no towel rail and shelf above sink wasn't there leaving sharp edges. asked for spare pillow and it seemed like it was too much bother. also stairs carpets were threadbare.
The location and price were the the reason I chose this location as I had a fishing trip planned for the next day in Beaumaris . It was cheaper than other choices and had good car parking. The breakfast was excellent , The room was OK but a little tired , the bathroom needed some upgrading to be better . It was alright for what we needed for a one night stopover.
The bathroom was a sqeeze with the toilet next to the shower cubicle and to the side of the toilet was an enclosure low down which limited leg room .
The evening meal was very good. The location was good
The hotel is in need of attention. Window didnt close, rusty bath , extensively damaged carpet. Broken furniture
The breakfast was limited and not great quality.
They asked us to provide a list of the items the night before that we wanted for breakfast and then didnt provide them
Very peaceful location. Lovely Sunday roast. And good breakfast. Very friendly. Lovely terrace for outside drinks.
Almost no telephone signal
