It was ok. A special thank you to Mustafa for his kindness.
Pros:

It was further away than I expected from Harvard yard. Plus it is not next to the river. It is across the street from the river. There’s a picture that’s a bit deceiving.

Cons:

The price. Two retired teachers visiting our daughter at Harvard don’t have that kind of money.

The sweet staff, other than breakfast, were so accommodating.

Breakfast staff - YUCK! Tried to accuse me of not providing vouchers for breakfast with the ones ($32) I had received. First I gave the lady with long hair behind register my voucher. Then as I was leaving buffet to go take a seat, the man behind register questioned me. Then when I sat down and was eating, another person asked me if I had paid. 3 people! I told lady guy I gave my voucher to the lady. He sad she isn’t here. I said that’s not my problem and “are you accusing me of stealing??” PLUS NO HEAT IN ROOM! Had to use space heater.

Free parking, good breakfast, large room. Could easily stay here for long stays though we only had one night. Great shower. Attentive staff.

Pros:

Quiet hotel with large rooms and nice staff. Good value for a short visit. It is about 25 min walk from MIT or Harvard campus and by a small park next to the river.

Cons:

Far away from Metro Red Line and every other type of public transport (20 min from Central station). The food in the restaurant was terrible with unfriendly staff. The Wi-Fi requires an account by Marriot and I couldn’t register with their system for some reason so I had to relay on very slow public network instead.

Pros:

The lobby and room were both very clean. I travel a lot for work and did feel like this room was on the cleaner side of what I've seen during my travels around the US/Canada. The staff were also really nice. I appreciated that they let me check in early when I asked to just drop my bags early and they allowed me to store my luggage the last day when I had to leave for work meetings.

Cons:

The one downside is there was a strange noise that I kept hearing in my room. I still don't know what it was. I did call the front desk during day two see if there was maybe something below my room that might be causing it but the lady I spoke to (who was very nice) did not know what was causing it. She did offer to bring up ear plugs which was very nice.

But overall I was really happy with the hotel and would be willing to stay again.
