I choose this location thinking we would walk to Ballgame but we ended up driving. The area is active. The room was excellent, beds were comfortable and clean. We were on 20th floor and view of the city and river was great!
We were very frustrated with check-in process. My reservation check-in time was 4pm-5pm that I choose 2 weeks prior. We arrived 445pm and room was not ready. We sat in lobby for 75 minutes before room was ready. The staff offered nothing extra to help accommodate us and barely received an apology.
Location was great.
They didn’t recognize the early check in request unless we signed up for their rewards.
Everything was satisfactory
Musty Smell
Great customer service!
The hotel is extremely overpriced and overrated. It's a very old hotel with poor maintenance. Also, I had made my reservation a month before going to the hotel, and when I got there, they had sold my room to another guest and I ended up in a room that I didnt want. They told me that they were sold out.
Good location in downtown Cincy.
We called ahead to verify if we could check in earl, we were told to arrive at noon. When we arrived our room was not ready. We walked around a while and checked back at 2. Still not ready. We checked two more times, we were told they were very full and they offered us a queen or double room. I declined at first. When our room was still not ready at 4:15, we finally accepted the downgrade. The room was extremely small, and all facilities were very dated. At a place, the hotel appears opulent, but looks are deceiving.
Convenient walk to Great American Ballpark for a Reds game. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking in the Mabley garage was easy.
Our room AC unit would not get any cooler than 70 degrees, so it was hot and difficult to sleep. Breakfast at their restaurant was included with our stay and when we went for breakfast, the staff was a little less than friendly and seemed very overwhelmed or understaffed despite a mildly busy appearing restaurant. We were urged to utilize the buffet instead of made to order menu. No coffee refills and our waitress disappeared for so long we just left our voucher on the table and left so we wouldn’t miss check out.

Our stay at this old-time luxury hotel was wonderful! It was a lovely hotel, built around 1931 and had old-time glamour. Some people may think that hospitality is simply their "business" and while that may be true, I want to mention some OUTSTANDING people there who made OUR stay like we were staying with "family": Courtney and Mahili (restaurant); Sheena (bar/lounge); Max (front desk/check-in) and Anthony (bell desk). These SPECIAL people surely made hospitality look EASY and it is because of them that we would like HONORABLE MENTION to go out to them!!! Thanks, Hilton, for doing this one RIGHT (like all your hotels!).
Strongly discourage booking for any team related event. Tried to book a room block like we have done many times; and once they set it up you are obligated for 80% of the rooms even up to 60 days prior to event. 30 days prior to our scheduled stay our tournament got cancelled; so we tried to cancel the rooms and were charged a $3,000.00 cancellation fee. After trying to explain the situation and how a 5th grade baseball team does not have $3,000.00 to just burn; they still would not waive the fee and instead only gave us a room credit for 12 rooms to use; almost $100.00 more per room than originally quoted. We ended up having 10 families willing to travel to Cincinnati and stay to help cover the cost even though event was cancelled. To make matters worse; they only had 9 rooms available with our promised 2 double queen beds; so one of the families had to stay in a single bed room. Extremely disappointed on how the entire thing was handled and needless to say would never stay or recommend any team to stay at this hotel.
Historic renovations, decor, atmosphere
Self parking available -- but VERY difficult parking in garage and access to lobby from garage down flight of stairs, with luggage, difficult
Location is nice with a lot to do around. Bed was comfortable and room was nice and clean.
The parking pass was somewhat confusing and it was a little hard to find the hotel itself having never been there before. Finding my way out of the building later in the evening when doors are locked up was somewhat confusing as well.
Nice, clean
No complimentary parking or breakfast for the price
