Everyone at reception was incredibly friendly and professional. Joseph made our stay unforgettable by arranging an upgrade, decorating our room and organising a surprise for us at the restaurant during our stay. All this was to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. No other hotel in Nairobi has a team like this, and I’ve stayed at almost all of them.

Wonderful peaceful hotel in centre of Nairobi. Rooms were large and luxorious. Great service throughout with all staff being incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The facilities were fabulous; whether lounging in the cincin bar, exercising in the pool and health suite or eating in either of the restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would actively seek out this hotel when in Nairobi.

Our stay at Fairmont Norfolk was the perfect start to our Kenya adventure. The team made my husband’s birthday so special with the sweetest surprise, a beautifully decorated room with towel animals, rose petals, and a birthday message waiting for us when we arrived and a slice of chocolate bday cake🥹

The property is beautiful, peaceful, and felt incredibly safe, and every staff member made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The hospitality was exceptional, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We highly recommend Fairmont Norfolk to anyone visiting Nairobi!

My friend and I stayed 2 nights at this is beautiful hotel before going on safari. The gardens are lovely and the rooms very comfortable and spacious. The staff were all exceptional, - friendly, welcoming, great service and made us feel at home. We enjoyed the breakfast on the first morning, and as we were leaving early on the second day for an early flight from Wilson Airport to Amboseli, the staff provided us with breakfast packs to have at the airport. A very enjoyable stay and highly recommended.

We spent two nights at the Fairmont Norfolk recently and absolutely loved it. The hotel itself is beautiful with lovely gardens. I loved all the different birds in the gardens each day.

Service was impeccable as well as friendly and helpful. There is tight security on entry to the hotel, and it feels a safe, tranquil oasis to rest.

We ate breakfast each day, a lovely choice of breakfast items, my husband loved the fresh made omelettes. We also had lunch and dinner in, and again, both were lovely meals. A service charge was added.

I highly recommend the Fairmont Norfolk, it does everything right and it was a wonderful welcome to Kenya.

My sister and I recently enjoyed a wonderful bed and breakfast stay at Fairmont Norfolk Nairobi, and it exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, Christine at reception welcomed us with genuine warmth and made our check-in smooth and pleasant. At the restaurant, Lea from the Food & Beverage team was simply exceptional. She was fun, cheerful, and her amazing laugh made every visit enjoyable. She consistently checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel truly valued as guests.

Elizabeth also deserves special recognition for her warm smile and kindness, which added a personal touch to our experience.

We stay at The Norfolk almost every time we visit
Nairobi. It’s the perfect place to launch wildlife adventures throughout East Africa. If you need more contemporary accommodations with modern amenities then stay somewhere else. Certainly some of the rooms are dated. However, if you want a unique experience with gracious service that transports you to a bygone era then The Norfolk won’t disappoint.

I stayed here for 2 nights before going on safari. A lovely hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Most comfortable bed. What makes this hotel outstanding is the staff. They all go above and beyond to make one's stay memorable Nothing is too much trouble. They all ask repeatedly if there is anything one wants or needs. They are helpful, courteous, friendly. It is a home from home. I can recommend it unreservedly. Coming back to Nairobi I would never stay anywhere else

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights before we went on safari. The people at the hotel were great. We arrived late at night and they had a full staff to help us. The grounds are very secure. I can't think of a better hotel to stay at before heading off. The setup was very safari like.

I stayed at Fairmont Norfolk in Nairobi for only one night with my Family (25-26 May) on our way to Masai Mara (we also stayed at Fairmont Mara Safari Club). This was enough to witness the beauty and serenity of this place. Quite relaxing atmosphere, very cosy, welcoming staff, and outstanding hospitality. We had dinner at Tatu restaurant. We were served by the GREAT Miss Maryam. Maryam was very nice. She was displaying cheer and happiness. She was also very knowledgeable about the history of Kenya. We will definitely come again for a longer stay in Nairobi to explore the city and to visit Mount Kenya as advised by Maryam!

This is an amazing beautiful hotel with lush grounds and lovely buildings.

We had dinner at the restaurant. The Ceasar salad with Chicken option was amazing. Cocktails were on point. The staff service was exceptional. Special mention to Sha who took our oder and Isaac who was assisting to touch tables and billing. You all are amazing with the team work.

We stayed at Fairmont The Norfolk during a business trip to Nairobi, and it was honestly such a great experience from start to finish.

After long workdays, it was the perfect place to come back to. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The little touches at turndown each evening were such a nice surprise and really made the room feel welcoming.

Breakfast and lunch were consistently excellent. The food was great, the service was smooth and friendly, and everything ran effortlessly, which you really appreciate when you’re on a work schedule. You could tell a lot of care goes into the details, whether it was the service, the rooms, or the beautiful, peaceful grounds.

It’s rare to say this, but we genuinely couldn’t find a single fault. Everything just felt easy, comfortable, and thoughtfully done. Fairmont The Norfolk somehow manages to be ideal for a business trip while still feeling special and relaxing.
We can’t wait to stay here again the next time we’re in Nairobi.
