Good location. Interesting interior. A museum-like hotel.
The breakfast is ordinary. Dust is not cleaned from hard-to-reach places.
Again - big disappointment.
One could argue they do provide good service, but as reknowned as (one of) the best hotels in Nice, my expectations are higher:
- waiting to be seated, although the bar is 50% empty
- arriving at an un-cleaned table
- waiting 15 minutes for the arrival of their own signature drinks (remember: the bar is half-full)
- being informed that the bar closes and delivered the bill at the same time
- waiting 20 minutes to pay ghe bill, only to go and pay it myself at the counter
Nope, this service is not top class...
(Same experience as last year, 2025...)
Fantastic stay, hotel stunning, staff excellent, service impeccable
We will be defiantly be coming back.
The best meal I have ever had — a very memorable evening.
First time here, loved the location, the bar and the beach. Staff was very helpful and nice.

The staff were excellent, esp the attitude on being welcomed, the concierge men always smiling and helpful, the front desk was excellent, plus our numerous breakfasts were aided by well trained and selected staff.
I’m still on cloud nine after staying at Le Negresco. It is such a magnificent and unforgettable place, part world-class hotel, part museum, and entirely unlike anywhere else I’ve stayed.
Every detail is magical. The interiors are gorgeous, the artwork is EVERYWHERE, and simply walking through the hotel feels like an experience in itself. The breakfast was incredible, and the service throughout our stay was warm, attentive, and authentic. On the second day, the breakfast staff remembered that I take three espresso shots (I know, ha!) in my iced latte, which honestly just wowed my socks off. Le Negresco is grand and iconic, but it never felt cold or impersonal. We had a family suite and a classic room for our group of 6. Both rooms were distinctly unique and just jaw-droppingly beautiful.
This probably indicates more about my lack of fancy hotel experience, but one thing to note: a closed cover-up is required when walking through the hotel lobby from the beach, and in the beach bar, otherwise a staff member may discreetly say "madame! madame!" and get you to close your duster. I was wearing a skirt and a duster that didn't meet dress code. I got a good giggle out of that.
Truly, I'm at a loss for enough words to describe this hotel. Staying at Le Negresco was a dream, a highlight of our time in Nice, and I cannot wait to go back.
Everything! The location, the style, the staff (simply the best). Great breakfast - French toast is fabulous. Rooms are clean and spacious.
