The hot tub (the reason I pick the Hampton over the homewood) was stinky and a little slippery and the front desk price for water a little rediculous.
Staff & location
Issues with a.c. - Shower was small…Bed was firm & pillows could’ve been better.
i made a resurvation for my son and grand daughter, when they got there they were charged a higher rate and my bank was hit with a charge as well. said he couldnt use the reservation, i made the resurvation other than myself on the online booking . yall charged me double whats up with that. they werte there for a funeral whats going to happen is i will not use your services anymore and u wont get any referalls from me
It was an excellent value. Good location, very clean, comfortable bed, nicely designed room. Breakfast was very good.
Quite honestly, there weren't any negatives regarding our stay.
We work on the road about 9 months out of the year traveling all over the states - This by far is one of our favorite Hamptons

Breakfast was good! Good variety. Gravy was tepid but acceptable.
Staff didn’t seem to like I had booked reservation via Booking.com. Said they couldn’t give a late checkout or even tell me what the final bill was because of booking method. The ultimately dd extend checkout time to 11:30.

We just had a really nice one night stay, and had a great experience. From Celeste at check in, to afternoon cookies, to the sweet breakfast hostess, and ending with April at check out, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Beds are comfy and we slept well. The hotel is really nice, has a few areas set up for relaxing with friends or reading a book which is a nice touch. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The dining area was well organized and very clean....even with multiple swim teams having breakfast. We have stayed in Van Buren on previous trips, but we will be making the quick detour back to this location for sure.
The room was nice, and the pillows were the best I have ever used. Everyone on staff was very nice, and I never felt like I was imposing on them if I had questions. Two people that really stood out for me were April, the front desk clerk, and Ximara, who was part of the kitchen staff. Both went out of their way to be helpful in a way that felt like it was in their nature and not just because it was their job.
Very large property. Well kept. A bit off the interstate. Would definitely stay again.
