I loved everything about the property in little hospitality
The Ritz Carlton is a very elegant hotel. The lobby is very classy . The valets were diligently at the door. The first appearance is that this hotel is definitely a 5 star hotel. The location of this hotel is in downtown Atlanta. The location is near the Mercedes Bentz area, the Georgia Congressional Center, Centennial Olympic Park and near a lot of restaurants. The rooms were typical. Nothing stood out as a 5 star hotel. The sofa had a stain on it. The room didn't have a clean look that you would expect from the Ritz Carlton hotel. Although the staff was friendly, they didn't provide any extra attentiveness that would stand out from any other hotel.
The room was nice, but.....
Hotel lobby too crowded.
At check in, room was not ready. On top of that they didn't notify me when it was.
Drinks too expensive in lobby area and of no value.
No ice on the floors
Valet drop off not adequate.
Coffee in room was beyond awful.
Shower door in the wrong side.
Ancillary charges ripping you off.
Internet was not accessible even with a membership.
Not worth the money.
No personalized service.
Room smelled of bleach when we first walked in. Went to dinner at the steak restaurant wasted $300+ dollars on dinner we could have had way better at Texas Roadhouse for a fraction of the price. Would have e tasted so much better too. Terrible! I don’t mind paying for good food, but the filet mignon was bad and over cooked. Not what I requested.
