Oh my goodness, I loved staying here. Everyone was so helpful and kind to us the whole time, and the location was absolutely perfect! Boston Common (and access to the T) just a block or so away. The beds were comfortable and I was able to keep the room cool even in 95 degree weather.
If I had to pick something not to like, the only thing I can think of might be the space in the room, but I was aware of what I was getting into going in. There is room for one person to walk at the foot of the bed and not much else, so if you really really need your space, it could be an issue. But it was me, my husband, and our two kids in our room and we were honestly fine.
The location and the service of all who worked there.
Rooms very small. There were no dresser drawers so we had to use the luggage stands for our clothes. And one small closet for 3 of us.
Great location
Bathroom was tiny
Los baños demasiado pequeños también los cuartos
Pero peor baños
Beautiful and elegant lobby and restaurant and bar. The staff was helpful and courteous. But the room was very very small. I’ve stayed at several cheaper hotels in Boston and the rooms were much larger. The closet was so small I could barely hang my clothing. No dresser a few small shelves in the closet. We lived out of our suitcase. Very disappointed!!
Location great, staff very nice. Comfortable room
Pricey, but to be expected due to marathon.
Breakfast rolled into stay price would be great.
View of corridor / other room windows only ie not street view not great but room was very quiet.
We were in a corner room and had a great view. The room was clean and comfortable.
Nothing. Well, maybe the fact that we didn't explore the hotel as much as we would have like, but that was due to us, and not the hotel.
This is a great historic hotel in the heart of the city. It’s walking distance from most everything. Friendly staff, great bar and restaurant.
Excelente localização, funcionários educadíssimos, camas confortáveis. Banheiros limpos e toalhas boas
Worst hotel ever. The rooms are very very small, the mini fridge are empty, they only provide ONE bottle water at the front desk when you check in, they don’t even leave a bottle when the do room service. The rooms are sooo noisy I couldn’t sleep well
Food and staff are beyond amazing. Rooms are very clean and updated. Location is perfect for anything you want to do in the area.
That it was within walking distance to stuff. Multiple food options. Very helpful staff
It’s a historic hotel property to begin with. JDK proposed to Jaqueline there, and he announced his candidacy for congress there. It’s where Boston Cream pie was invented. You must have some. They serve 300 servings a day there. It’s where Emeral the chef got his start.
This hotel has beautiful carvings and architectural elements inside and the dinning and bars are very nice. We frequented them during our stay.
Steven the concierge was sooo helpful with guidance and directions for us.
I highly recommend this facility.
No bad experience. It was all good
