Staff were amazing! Helpful and caring
Amazing stay. So much care and attention to our personal comfort. The finishings are of the highest quality.
I wish room service was available for breakfast.
Excellent breakfast.
Beautiful accommodations.
Ridiculous to have only two elevators for this large hotel. Wait times were extensive.
Wonderful old world charm.. nice safe area and lovely pool
Nothing really
Location
Elavators are old, small & not enough for this big hotel with many rooms & lots of events
Beautiful hotel. Great staff and very comfortable rooms and bedding. The pool and outdoor hot tub is fantastic. Walking distance to the zoo and a few restaurants.
The restaurants are great, with a fairly good variety of choices for families . The outdoor bar and restaurant closed at 5:30 on a Monday of our recent stay, which in my opinion job is way too early to order a dinner or snack and enjoy the pool area longer.
I noticed the outdoor patio awning outside the main restaurant ( Robert’s) is seriously deteriorating and needs to be replaced. It has many holes, so unfortunately when we were sitting out there on the patio during rain after our check in, the tables and floor were completely soaked, with rain basically pouring in. That’s a shame for such a beautiful hotel. The back patio could be a real draw for guests who want to enjoy the beautiful back garden view area and have a bit more quiet than the lobby, but it seems it is somewhat neglected . Hopefully the awning will replaced soon.
This hotel has the worst bell staff and valet people I have ever seen. Plus its $69 dollars a night ($55 plus reduclious fees), One of the bell guys tried to grab my keys and arm prior to even checking in or getting my work computer out of the car. It was 10 pm on a Thursday night and my car was the only one in the valet lane. If I hadn't pre paid, I would of left before checking in. The manger said she was comping the Valet fees and 1 night. 2 days after check out-no surprise they were all on my statement as of this morning. I travel approximately 200 days a year for work for 20 years and the staff ( except Nazeefa) are rude and unexperienced in basic customer service. 3 mornings I order Iced Green tea at coffee shop by the gift shop and all 3 days the rude forgein lady gave me luke warm with no ice black tea. Save yourself the aggrevation and find a hotel that appreciates paying customers. The rooms are old and tired plus dont have mini refrigerators only "chillers" who has heard of anything that stupid to keep food from spoiling. No kids gifts at check in. They have been out for "months". Closed the pool Friday afternoon bc of 15 minutes of rain. Took 2 hours to reopen and then there were no pool towels because they all got wet in the rain. The guy in the spa said they would have more out Saturday.
The worst experience I've ever had at a higher end hotel. The pictures online and everything look amazing. It is far from that and the lack of customer service throughout the hotel is evident.
Wonderful location with spacious rooms, and lovely garden area. We dined once at the restaurant and found the food excellent and the staff even better.
Highly recommend this hotel.
Great overall stay! The valet parking was efficient, and the bell attendants were incredibly helpful and attentive. While the room is a bit dated, it was clean and comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. And I am coming back again in two days.
An absolute awesome experience!! The breakfast was delicious !! The service was professional and very friendly!! A relaxing stay! The
We had an overall great stay at the Omni. It was luxurious, comfortable, and all staff were pleasant and accommodating. I wanted to specifically mention an incredible member of the team, Tenesha, who runs the coffee and sandwich shop. She must have seen me looking a bit down and asked how I was. I told her I just lost my mom two weeks ago. From that moment on, she remembered me every day and went out of her way to talk to me between customers, to ask how I was doing, and also took an interest in how my young adult son was doing in his chess tournament. She really stood out as an incredible example of customer focus and satisfaction!
I can't begin to explain how bad my experience is here. I booked through a group to attend an event with kids. On June 20, I called and spoke with a front desk agent to upgrade my room to a 2 queen suite, which after 20 minutes, we did - or so I thought. On June 26, I called to confirm before arrival since I didn't get the updated confirmation. Reservations couldn't find anything and transferred me to the front desk manager. She also couldn't find anything. Apparently it just didn't "go through." Okay stuff happens. On June 26, upon check in, I present my Amex to pay for the two connecting rooms I got instead of the suite and my Amex is charged $2300 - granted I got the special group rate of $150 / night per the hotel so three nights = $2300 not exactly a bargain but I guess there are quite a few incidentals/holds. To my surprise, however, I log in to my business checking and see my debit card has been charge $591 as well. I called the front desk immediately and spoke to a manager called Alvin who told me he'd give me a free breakfast and sorry accounting only works M-F. At this point, I had it. And trust me upon check-in there were a few other guests who had had it as well and I judged them then - I am sorry for that. Alvin then just told me he couldn't help me, it was above his pay grade, and to call back at 3:00 p.m. I told Alvin he shouldn't have this job and I stick by my comment. I think that to say customer service is dead in the US is the biggest understatement of the century. I can't pinpoint when it died and incompetence took over but it has happened. Don't stay here. It's dated (my bed sheets are ripped which I overlooked by the way) and beyond that, if you can't trust that you are going to treated fairly and competently, it's not worth it for your own peace of mind.
