Don’t stay here
Pros:

I stayed at the Omni hotel because the PNBC was held here. When I checked in I was recognized as a loyal member and given a few vouchers for drinks. I arrived late so I didn’t have time to expect the room I had change and run to a banquet. When we returned to the room I went to put food in the cooler and there was food already in there. The cooler was not cleaned from the previous guest. During one day of my stay, my family got ready for the day activities. We wanted new towels and washcloths so we placed the old ones on the floor. The sign in the bathroom stayed to get replacement you put the dirty ones on the floor. The next day we noticed nothing was replaced but they did take everything that was on the floor. We had to use hand towels so we could attend out classes on time. That night I went to the front desk letting them no I need an ironing board. My room never had one and I needed 4 washcloths, 4 towels and a comforter. The lady at the front desk said she will send someone. No one came. I assumed they would drop it off in the morning hopefully before we leave for class. That same night I contacted the front desk because the kids next door was running up and down the hallway and they were in the room yelling and screaming. I’m pretty sure they didn’t do anything considering the noise went on for hours it stopped around 2:30ish that morning. The next day we did not receive what we requested however when we returned to our room from class we received 2 washcloths and towels instead of the 4. I learned from a mbr at the convention kids eat free at Robert’s. However I paid for my daughter food at Robert’s. When I went on check out day I received a different waitress who told me my daughter eats for free there. The first day I went to Robert’s I waited over 30 mins to place an order and I paid for my child.

My Stay
Pros:

Select Guest Member # 8583558908
Member since 2014.

First, Reservations where for a premium King room which they did confirm that I had a Premier Room - 1 King, but my room wasn't ready yet no big deal, then they couldn't find my Omni loyalty account, then a few hours later I got the called my room was ready, they gave me the room keys but didn't give me any drink tickets oh well right? So, I go up to the room, I open the door and it wasn't what I reserved or even what they confirmed, it was a 2 bed maybe queens, differently not a premium King room. When checking out the App would not work it said room not available so I went to the front desk to check out, they said the points would be added to my loyalty account but still hasn't happened. So, I tried to enter in past stays with my confirmation number I got nothing. I stay at the OMNI a lot, but this was a very disappointing week.

Disappointing, grubby and not 4 star by anyone’s standards
Pros:

This review is mainly for European travellers, as our expectation of what 4 star means may be different to what can be expected in the US.

The building is lovely inside, at least on first inspection, it has a very grand feel about it, and I’m sure that it was something special in its heyday.. sadly those days are long gone. The chandeliers and ornate wallpaper can’t hide how tired and grubby it has become.

First impressions are from the unfriendly valet teams .. not a welcoming smile or a friendly hello to be found.. and for what it costs ($55 plus $10) you’d expect perhaps a modicum of polite customer service..

Then the check in process begins.. we were unfortunate to arrival at the same time as a baptist convention, meaning there’s were literally hundreds of people in the foyer, the noise was deafening and that impacted the wait time to check in. The staff on the desks were again, not exactly forthcoming in their welcome, and they gave us no information pertaining to our stay, no check out times, breakfast timings, where the pool was .. no information at all, just threw the room key at us and that was it.

The corridors are grubby and the carpets are obviously dirty.

The room itself is very large, which was great because we have a lot of suitcases with us. I’m afraid thats about as positive as the review for the room gets. On opening the door you’re hit with a terrible smell of either damp fustiness or old smoke, or a mixture of both, can’t quite put my fingers on it, but it’s terribly unpleasant. Having read other reviews it seems this is the norm. The bathroom is old and grubby, the light switches are caked in dirt, the toilet stinks of the sewers.

There’s a coffee machine but you only get paper cups, not exactly ecologically sound( but I suppose this is the US). The coffee wasn’t refilled in the 3 days we were here, so we were left with breakfast tea pods. The towels are threadbare and rough, there are no robes or slippers. The shampoo and conditioner and shower gel bottles are placed in some sort of holder that isn’t even attached to the wall so it just flaps around when you try to use it.

The aircon unit is huge and the noise is so loud it’s almost impossible to sleep ( thankfully we brought ear plugs) and the bedding is also rough, with the bed topper constantly moving and scrunching up making it very uncomfortable to sleep.

The bottles of water you get on arrival in the room are in small cheap plastic bottles, I’d expect glass bottles in a 4 star hotel.. and aren’t replenished unless you ask at reception.

The valet system to get your car back is a joke.. every time you text to ask for your car back you get an automated response saying they are too busy and you have to go down to request it, even though both times we’ve done so.. the valet park was completely empty of cars.. so it’s not busy, they just can’t be bothered, and as we found on day one.. a courteous smile or a friendly hello doesn’t come with the rate.

The breakfast in the hotel is subpar.. the cutlery smells funny and the food takes an age, that’s after having to wait upwards of 15 minutes to get into the ridiculously small dining room ( especially as they seem to have numerous conferences going on at the same time) . There was no information about whether breakfast was included, but after checking our reservation and confirming that it was, the front reception still tried to charge us for it, once he agreed that breakfast was in fact included he was very confused and didn’t even know what items were included.

Overall this was a hugely disappointing stay, and as we are leaving America after living here for a few years, it’ll be a disappointing memory. This cannot be called 4 star in any capacity, certainly by European standards, so don’t expect it to live up to it.. the only thing that makes it 4 star is the price that they charge you for the stay.

I’d absolutely avoid at all costs.. put it this way.. I’d have much preferred a Premier Inn..

Yanks vs Nationals Weekend.
Pros:

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider returning.

**Pros:**

- The pool was a nice size, well maintained, and enjoyable.
- The fitness center, while small, featured Peloton bikes, making it easy to get in a quality workout.
- Staff throughout the property were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help.
- Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed.
- The location was very convenient, with plenty of nearby dining and attractions.

**Minor Cons:**

- The pool could benefit from having a deeper section for adults.
- The fitness center is on the smaller side.
- There was a slight odor in the room at times that could be improved.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I will stay at the Shoreham in future but hope the above suggestions will be considered.
Pros:

I liked the decor and staff for the most part, especially the concierge and parking/valet staff.

Cons:

I feel the front desk staff could spend less time carrying on conversations when there is a line of gets waiting to check out, seek h we help, etc

I would like more than two bottles of water for two guests in a double room and didn't appreciate having to go down to the front desk to ask for more.

Unprofessional Staff, Unauthorized Charges, and Total Lack of Accountability
Pros:

Unprofessional Staff, Unauthorized Charges, and Total Lack of AccountabilityI am extremely disappointed with my stay at this property. The front desk operation is completely amateur, dishonest, and lacks basic customer service skills. My negative experience began at check-in with Fernando. Management explicitly implemented a policy to accommodate early check-ins, yet Fernando was either completely untrained on this policy or simply unwilling to help. He flat-out refused to accommodate me.Things got much worse with Kayla at the front desk. I was offered a room upgrade, which I explicitly declined. Kayla verbally confirmed that I would not be charged. However, she snuck the upgrade fee onto my bill anyway. To make matters worse, I was promised a corrected receipt upon checkout. It has still not been sent. Retaining unauthorized funds and withholding billing documentation constitutes financial misconduct. I am now forced to file a fraud dispute through my credit card company.Beyond the terrible attitude and deceptive billing practices of the staff, the hotel itself is highly disappointing. The rooms are incredibly dated and poorly maintained. Save your money and stay somewhere that respects the law, its guests, and basic business ethics.

Fajny klasyczny hotel blisko metra. Spokojna okolica.
Pros:

Piękny klasyczny obiekt przy samej stacji metra. Dojazd do stolicy w zaledwie parę minut.

Cons:

Hucząca klimatyzacja pracująca non stop bez możliwości wyłączenia. Basen ok ale po zdjęciach można stwierdzić że jest on duży, a w rzeczywistości średniej wielkości.
