Die Lage und das Zimmer waren toll. Es war alles extrem sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend.

Cons:

Das Personal an der Rezeption kann sehr schlecht englisch. Das war jedoch nicht so schlimm, da man mit einer Übersetzter-App sich gut verständigen kann. Wir hatten an unserem Abreisetag um 06.20 Uhr ausgecheckt und verpassten wegen 10 Minuten das Frühstück für welches wir bezahlt hatten. Wir fragten einzig nach einem Coffee-to-go. Denn das Buffet war schon fast bereit. Sie lehnten unsere Anfrage einfach ab und wiesen uns auf die Öffnungszeiten hin. Das finde ich total daneben - wegen wenigen Minuten!! Die Kaffeemaschine hätte trotzdem bedient werden können oder sogar eine to-go-Box mit Essen. Auch bei einer anderen Anfrage ein paar Tage zuvor wegem einem Check-in Problem haben sie uns einfach abgewiesen. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist keine Hilfe.

Excellent séjour. Je recommande.
Pros:

Hôtel très bien localisé au centre de Pékin à proximité des sites à visiter, avec une station de métro en face de l'hôtel permettant de se déplacer très facilement. L'hôtel est calme et offre de belles prestations. Très bon petit déjeuner inclus.

Overall pretty disappointing for a 5 star stay
Pros:

- The room was large and very beautiful
- The staff in the lobby were helpful, especially for booking taxis or transport
- The hotel breakfast was nice, though overpriced
- The AC worked well
- The shower and bath were really nice

Cons:

- The service left a lot to be desired. The hotel is 5 star, so I would hold it to that standard. When we arrived no one collected our bags or offered to help us.
- During our stay water, coffee and other consumables that were free (most in your room are not free) would not be restocked, we had to ask for this to be restocked which felt more like a cash grab for a hotel that is already very expensive
- Speaking on price, this hotel is very expensive for basic things. A coffee in the lobby will run you 97RMB (around $20aud). There are service charges that get added to things such as coffee in the lobby, yet there is very little service. It took me a long time to order and be allowed to sit, because the attendant was busy and not paying attention.
- The hotel breakfast is large with good options, but very expensive and has no service. Everything is self serve (including coffees), but even at the egg station trying to get an omelette, the staff were busy talking amongst themselves. I waited at the spot it said to wait for a few minutes but no one came to help, so I just didn’t get an omelette. It’s fine for less expensive hotel, but you should pay for what you get. The hotel breakfast is around 190rmb, egg chefs should at least take orders.
- we required to have some washing done while we stayed here, which was incredibly expensive. Unfortunately there is no option to do it yourself or take it somewhere else. We then had issues getting our clothes back because the hotel wanted us to pay for it first before returning the clothes, though we had asked for it to be charged to our room. They wanted us to come downstairs to then collect our clothes and pay at the counter. This would be fine for a cheap hotel, but not for such an expensive one.
- the location is good for public transport, but what is left out of the photos is that there is a large open air dump directly next to the hotel. From your room you can watch the workers collecting rubbish and processing it.

Tolles Hotel in perfekter Lage.
Pros:

Die Lage war echt perfekt, U-Bahn war gleich daneben und eine tolle Shoppingstraße war auch gleich in der Nähe, wie die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Austattung des Hotels war super.

Pros:

Breakfast is royal:) staff is helpful. I only had a pb at the beginning to make a payement with card issue by the EU. Maybe you should verify this point.
