Very clean..

Cons:

Lack of amenities for 4 people
2 tea cups
2 tea bags 2 coffee
2 tiny milk
No extra plates or cutlery
No bin liners in the rubbish bins.
Staff!!
Where all seniors.3 of us
We arrive at the hotel
No one comes to offer a helping hand to carry our luggage up the steps..
Theres no ramp to roll our luggage ..
Once we drag our luggage in ..there were luggage trolleys
But we were not offered a trolley.

short and sweet. Breakfast was good
Pros:

We arrived late at nearly 1am due to a problem on the rail line. We walked from the station to the hotel and were dismayed to see the entrance steps, then noticed the sign directing us to the slopped entrance. By the time we reached the entrance there was a young man called MAXIM waiting for us. He took my husbands 2 suitcases and escorted us to the check in desk. He checked us in and we went to our room. His behavior was astonishing and very very welcome. Brightened up what had become a stressful day as we were 4 1/2 hours late arriving. Well done to him

Horrible???
Pros:

Was my second stay so it was pretty decent

Cons:

The fact that my room service was skipped I had told the lady that i would be out in a minute which i Was And i came back hours later to my room untouched!! Then i had called reception for my sheets and towels to atleast be changed as they were dirty And few minutes later all i was brought were towels Then i attempted again and nothing so There's that

Lovely hotel in Haymarket
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at Sydney Central Hotel. The bed was comfy and the hotel is centrally located, just a stone's throw away from all the eateries and touristy spots! The carpark is also conveniently located right next to the hotel! We will definitely be coming back!

Cons:

The bathroom sink could be a little bit cleaner but it was good enough. Not really the hotel's fault but the lifts to the Wilson carpark took quite a while to arrive and the light of the buttons weren't working during our stay, so we (and a few fellow hotel guests) weren't sure if the lifts were working--but it did work as the lift doors eventually opened after a long wait. It was also a little confusing in the room with so many separate buttons for individual room lights (and not all intuitive).
