Loved the pub, food was great. The room was small and the bathroom was behind two doors (one to the bathroom and one to the room where the bed was - both of which were behind the entry to the room - peculiar to say the least :-)) which was a little inconvenient but the smallness of the room was not unusual and was fine for our needs (sleeping.) The proximity to the Earls Court tube station made it awesome!
Slightly larger room (not critical) only one door to the bathroom please :-)

The staff members were friendly and very accomodating. Loved the free breakfast. Our room was charming and quite nice but we did have some street noise from delivery/garbage trucks in the early morning hours. Great location/launching point to the Tube and other London attractions.
We were snug in our room. We would have liked more space/hangers for our clothes and other belongings. I would say that The Blackbird felt more like an Inn, than a hotel. The bar/restaurant (which is very popular) on the main floor stayed busy throughout the day and evening. We sometimes had a hard time wrestling staff away from the bar to help us with questions about our stay.
