The staff members were friendly and very accomodating. Loved the free breakfast. Our room was charming and quite nice but we did have some street noise from delivery/garbage trucks in the early morning hours. Great location/launching point to the Tube and other London attractions.

Cons:

We were snug in our room. We would have liked more space/hangers for our clothes and other belongings. I would say that The Blackbird felt more like an Inn, than a hotel. The bar/restaurant (which is very popular) on the main floor stayed busy throughout the day and evening. We sometimes had a hard time wrestling staff away from the bar to help us with questions about our stay.

Note that the hotel is just above the pub, you need to go through the entire restaurant to check in, which feels very strange.
Some rooms are not directly accessible through the elevator, you have to climb stairs.
Room isolation very bad, i could hear noise from above and neighboring rooms.

Great Stay in London Central
Pros:

Blackbird was a great way to start our vacation! The breakfast was wonderful, the room was comfortable and beautiful. This was a great location close to the Underground Earl's Court station - making it easy to arrive from Heathrow Airport. We would stay here again!

Cons:

Not a negative necessarily, but more of a heads up: the lift is extremely slow. The room we stayed was at the very top which meant we walked up 3+ flights of stairs to come and go.
