It was in the Savannah Historic District and close to the river .
The staff was simply unfriendly and rude . The woman at the front desk
We really enjoyed our stay! I love that the property is located in downtown. Easy to walk everywhere. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bar downstairs was also nice. We plan on staying at Hotel Indigo again in the future.
Bathroom door did not close all of the way. That was the only issue. Everything else was great.
It is in a great location.

The restaurant staff were nice and the food was fine.
This isn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's the worst at this price point.
We'll start with the valet parking, easily the worst part of the hotel, probably my worst valet experience ever (I valet often). There is no other option, and it's $48 per day. It's a special talent of corporations to make a thing you pay extra for be the worst thing about an experience, but the valet parking here is ridiculously bad. To be charged for it is completely unacceptable, but honestly if it were free it would still be infuriating. Pulling up late in the evening to a crowd of cars, no valets in evidence, and then to sort of try to figure out how to get parked so that you can even go inside to check in, only to at last discover a valet, tell them of your trouble and be asked for your room number and describe again how you haven't checked in yet, and then to be met with a blank stare, was very frustrating. The experience with that valet actually got even worse, but I won't go into it; everyone has a bad day.
The lobby smells like pee. It is what it is.
The staff were uniformly rude with the exception of the waiters in the restaurant who were genuinely fine. The food is okay. Again, remember it's quite expensive like everything at the hotel, so for what it is, it's just okay.
The lobby appearance is alright, and along the lines of what you've been led to expect if you researched the hotel at all, but the hallways and elevators are pretty dreary, worn and drab. The room I stayed in was alright, nothing special. The beds weren't especially comfortable, nor were they the worst. I don't know what beautiful building exterior is pictured when you google this hotel, but it's not this place.
I cut my vacation short by a day just so I could leave.
Staff, our room, and we can't say enough about the young black lady that served us at the bar on 5/27 @ 4:30 she was super sweet and energetic with singing I made sure she knew we enjoyed the positive energy in her singing she was so fun. Cant thank her enough, ❤️❤️

The close proximity to everything
The elevator and stairs deal...Its not ideal to drag luggage up and down stairs
The location was very nice in downtown Savannah.
The housekeeping tried to get into my room when the do not disturb sign was up. They knocked continually and tried to open the door, they couldn’t get in because the latch gate was blocking the door from opening. Then she tried to open the door again and I told her the do not disturb sign was up. It was evident we were in there and she kept trying to get in. I didn’t think housekeeping was even supposed to bother you when the sign was up. Let alone try and get into a locked door twice. Also, there was hair in the shower. I don’t think it was cleaned thoroughly.
